Second year in a row that our appointment was canceled with no phone call or reason why. And there were four others with that time slot for an appointment sitting in the lobby when we got there as well as a person with an appointment an hour before ours who was still sitting in the lobby. They had two tax preparers and no front desk. I have been using H&R Block for the past ten years, and my wife has since she was 18. Guess we need to find somewhere else now since this is two years in a row.

Had to return to this place 3x. A bunch of hassles. And to find out that last year H&R Block screwed up my taxes. Just a nightmare of a place. DON'T COME HERE. Waste of time. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Last time I will ever do my tax at HR blockWaited for an hour and yet they mess up my return. Called many times to know what’s going on, no one had a clue and they kept saying we will call you back

H&R Block did my taxes at the end of April 2022 and charged $268 for 30 minutes of their time. It is now towards the end of September 2022 and I still have not received my return. The staff are incompetent and give a different answer to the same question every time I've called. H&R Block is an absolute disaster messed it over charges you for a little bit a time and they don't even follow through with what their guarantee is.They get a big fat goose egg in my book and I would never ever ever go back there again or recommend them to anybody.

Because the preparer didn't seem clear on if my taxes were sent electronically or if I had to mail them in. Also, he didn't seem to know how to navigate the electronic signature pad. I also indicated that I wanted my tax statement sent to my email and I would pay for them with a credit card. (this is due to the fact that I am disabled) He called me the day after, 4/14/2021 to tell me I'd have to come in because he couldn't send them to my email address.

I arrived at 2:45 today for my 3pm appointment. I walked through the door (which has a bell on it) and there was no receptionist at the desk, I waited there for 2mins thinking another worker may greet me, but no one said anything until I shouted "hello". Someone asked how they can help me I told them about my appointment, she checked it and proceeded to tell me they had the wrong name or something and told Terry that his next appointment was here, he said ok and I thought that maybe that meant he'll be out in a moment. After a few minutes of not being greeted by Terry or even having him peek his head through I figured that maybe he was waiting until my actual appointment time so I waited. The woman who first greeted me continued to help her own clients, and when she had a free moment I asked her if I needed to come back later, she rudely responded "You need to ask Terry that, he's doing something on the phone" (I had not yet met nor spoke to Terry at this point because he never once came from behind his cubicle. She saw the puzzled look on my face and asked Terry to come out. At this point it is 3:20pm, 20 mins after my scheduled appointment which I arrived early for, and I repeated my question to Terry, "Do you need me to come back later", to my surprise Terry responded "Yes that would be very helpful" he suggested the next day, but saw my frustration, went to check his computer and then told me to come back at 5pm. I left roamed around, found some food at a restaurant and returned at 4:22pm and to my surprise there were two clients in Terry's cubicle. It is currently 4:37pm and he is still with those clients. I am waiting until 5pm to see if he stays true to his word (which it doesn't seem is very possible right now), I guess I'll update if needed, but I am very very frustrated at this point (hence the long rant). This is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been inside of in my entire life, and I highly doubt he is gonna honor this new 5pm appointment.UPDATE: Terry was ready at 5:09 and he was nice enough and a pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond once we finally got to business, and I even had a nice convo with the woman on my way out. Nevertheless be warned that the first half of this post is true.

Terry was thorough and spent lots of time helping me understand the stimulus checks, my return, and when I would likely see any money. He set it up so I will get a text about any stimulus money I am entitled to past and future, in June, 2020, December, 2020 and in the future. I am not entitled to any tax refund this year.

Brian was asking me alot of personal questions about my Ex. He was very awkward and made me feel uncomfortable. He was not helpful, he wasted my time and made the situation worse with his kreepy persona and personal questions while he was "trying to relate" to my situation. Very unprofessional, very strange. Made me so uncomfortable i took my paperwork back and left. My taxes did not get filed. What a waste of time. I went to H&R last time I tried to file and they were no help then either. I will never go to these unprofessional people again. All they want are simple taxes to file so all they have to do is enter numbers into a format and they can't even do that professionally.
