I just want to give a shout out to Patrick ~ he is the greatest asset Cub Food Baxter has!! Every time (and it is a lot) I purposely go through his checkout. Not only does he have the best stories in life he seems to genuinely care about the customers.
Keep up the great work Patrick!!

I went into the store for 1 item at 7:53 last night. I was met at the door by an extremely rude worker who was visibly annoyed with my being there 7 minutes before closing. He continued to look at his watch and then at me. Followed by rudely saying “you better hurry these doors are closing in 5 minutes”. I told him I knew and only had to get 1 item. I get that lingering customers close to closing is annoying but the store was technically still open until 8:00. I was out of there by 7:55. Will not return to this store in the future. Do better.

I have always shopped Cub Foods in Baxter and while I am aware their prices are higher than other local stores I still personally prefer Cub Baxter. However, today I was completely taken back by the rude unprofessional comments from my cashier. I did ask why Cub was more expensive than Wal-Mart and her reply was, “to be brutally honest with you, I’m sick and tired of customers coming through asking this, if you want I can call a manager over here but I refuse to talk about”.” Her deamoner was hostile and franklyyou I felt uncomfortable.frankly, I don’t people go through the line to have long detailed conversations with a clerk, just make short comments and move on. This was not only uncalled for but embarrassing. I had a lady make a comment about it in the parking a lot and assured me this particular cashier is rude. I will think twice about returning anytime soon. So as your picketing for wages maybe you should also think about who pays those wages.

Don’t give these greedy misers your money. They don’t pay their employees a living wage and they hike up the prices at the brainerd store, why? Because ne has a lot food stamp recipients that dont own cars. I literally can’t believe I’m saying this but wal mart is better to their employees. Don’t give these people your money, shop at wal mart. It isn’t a hometown local business you’re supporting it’s one of the largest grocery chains in minnesota.

The reason why your businesses are thriving is because of your workers. Until then, you will lose money which apparently you are trying to save.

"Upon entering Cub Foods, one is instantly welcomed by the refreshing aroma of freshly baked goods wafting from the in-house bakery. The store layout is intuitively designed, making it easy for shoppers to navigate through the various departments. The produce section boasts an extensive variety of fruits and vegetables, all appearing fresh and vibrant.A standout experience was interacting with the meat department staff, who were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, elevating the overall shopping experience. The meat and dairy sections are impeccably organized, with clear labeling that ensures customers can find exactly what they need. One of the other key features of Cub Foods is the exceptional customer service. The staff is attentive, more than willing to assist you in finding specific items or answering any questions. Checkout is always a breeze thanks to the multiple lanes available, including efficient self-checkout options for those in a hurry.Additionally, the store offers an impressive selection of organic and gluten-free options, catering to customers with specific dietary needs. For those looking to save, Cub Foods' own brand offers high-quality alternatives at a more affordable price point.Overall, shopping at Cub Foods is more than just a chore; it's an experience that leaves you satisfied and eager to return. Five out of five stars!"

Cub is a good place to shop because they have a lot of items and keep the store well stocked. I find the staff to be helpful and nice!It is a busy place, so be sure to allot the time to shop when they are at peak hours!Prices have gone up here, like most other places, so we don't shop here as often as we used to.The bakery is very good here, so if you are looking for donuts, cakes, or cupcakes for meetings, or events this is a good option!
