I left without buying anything because the music was louder than it needed to be and inappropriate for many of the clientele.

Been coming to this location for about 5 years now, after yesterday Never AGAIN !! I went there to get my Child’s WIC items and was treated like a person who did not deserve respect or any common courtesy which I could not understand, really ruined my day and Kroger Shopping Experience. I was self checking out and a few items that were marked as WIC Items & a few would not scan as WIC so it would take the price off and those items were the 100% Kroger wheat bread, Juicy Juice Apple Juice 48oz which is understandable at such a big location but can be handled much better then the way cashier clerk at self checkout named Chris who soon as I signaled for help he immediately turned red in the face blew air out his mouth and walked over, when I explained what happened he says with a rude tone and attitude that since it’s more work he assist the others first then come back all while walking away at the same time like I was last priority for some reason but thankfully his coworker said she would handle the others while he helped me but I didn’t get the so called help. Instead he checked the items told me it’s my problem not his that I gotta call WIC because it’s on there end but then I showed the WIC sticker and scanned the item on the WIC benefits phone app to also confirm that it was also accepted as an WIC item yet he still kept rudely dismissing me saying he cannot do nothing and was rude while going so. So then I asked for the manager Joel, he heard the situation and also says he cannot force a transaction when that wasn’t why I asked for help and also did not tell his staff that he is managing to not be TO KROGER CUSTOMERS, I stated I just wanted to confirm that you cannot scan this and wanted the manager to be aware so he can contact whoever is in charge and let them know to Update Ktigrrs Inventory system so future customer would not have the same issue instead they both ignored and dismissed me so since I was late I bought would I could and said my farewells because this is the last time me and my family and friend and community members will ever visit this location again!!!
To the employees sorry for asking for help, if customer service irritates you so much find another job that you enjoy instead ruining others shopping experience’s and sending me home without my child’s food!
To Kroger I still shop at other locations just never this one ever again!!!

Quality of meats, steaks, going down, priced going up. Meat counter is closed alot. Steaks sitting in water, not much to choose from. Deli meats lacked amount of items to choose from. Hopefully deli will use the electronic number system.

Most of the new people there are rude, and the online order then go pick up NEVER get it right they “forget” to give you all of your order and when you go back they are rude and act as if it’s your fault they messed up. If there were more grocery store choices around I wouldn’t go there.

I go here because it's close to where I live but in the past year or so it has gone downhill so fast that I'm thinking of going elsewhere. Majority of the workers are so rude that it overshadows the few good workers they have. I asked if I could squeeze through to grab a bag of lettuce that took me all of two seconds and with how the worker reacted you would've thought I insulted her mother. I get they need to stock but they block off most of the aisles so you can't get through and when you say 'excuse me' they act like you're an inconvenience. I think my patience with this Kroger's have run out unfortunately. I have my bad days too, but if I act how I feel at work like they can apparently do, I'd be out of a job.

rude workers, shelfs and end caps always a mess, trash in asile, nothing is ever instock. Produce, deli, and meat departments belong in a 3rd world country. You can tell bad management has run this into the ground.

This location is not as nice or as big as some of the other Krogers in the area, but it does its job well. It is normally well stocked with fresh goods as well as packaged products. Prices are in line with other grocers in the area. I can get in and out with ease. Would love to see more cashiers at busier times, but that is a problem everywhere.

This was my all time favorite Kroger. I told myself you know what it’s time to start leaving reviews for the bad customer service I receive. There is a young lady that works customer service now at this location… she is VERY rude. Even management has gotten on her. When I check out down the aisle with workers at the register my bags are always left behind… The young lady was rude to me this is the second occasion. So confused I felt I was so respectful and I spoke. She should not work customer service if she is going to be biased to customers. Calling a manger over to help service me because she did not want to. I did nothing to this young lady. She makes me not want to even patronize this location again!

This used to be a lovely Kroger! I used to shop weekly now I barely go 1x a month if that. Every time I'm amazed at how horrible it looks inside. Dirty, understocked and understaffed. Last night went to grab Lettuce for sandwiches and every single type of Lettuce on the shelf was visibly brown, wilted and completely rotten. There are a few very nice people still working, and I feel bad for them it looks like a miserable place to work. Many of them over the years have openly expressed that management is horrible to employees in that particular location. The big renovation never happened either. Shopping at the kroger in plymouth I recognized a few workers from the westland store and they echo the same sentiments. I can drive to ann arbor to shop or wherever I want to get great food. A lot of people in westland don't have that luxury and this is where they have to get their staples. This location needs to do better and pull their act together. Westland deserves nice things too.

My husband went in today to try to buy some wine tonight and both a cashier and manager turned him away for having an “ID that wasn’t his” when he tried to explain he hasn’t gone in since Covid (ID is valid just renewed online) they further harassed him, insisting it wasn’t him, my husband didn’t argue because he was embarrassed .
He is a cancer survivor and this has never happened to him before, the manager and cashier should absolutely be ashamed of themselves, they are clearly not understanding of those with serious medical issues. They should also be ashamed of judging a customer so shamelessly and then taking it further to keep harassing them, when someone is explaining , I didn’t know we conducted business that way, absolutely disgusting.
