I would recommend you dealing with Fay Akkari at this branch. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She is super helpful and will not let you leave unless you are satisfied. She ensures that your online banking is set up before you leave and shows you how to do atm deposits using your mobile device. Additionally, she helped me set up my virtual card in my apple wallet. She truly goes above and beyond and does it without making you feel like a burden. I highly recommend you visiting this branch and asking for Fay Akkari. She is a breath of fresh air!

I had an amazing experience with Intissar Akkari aka Fay at Bank of America in Westland. Her customer service was nothing short of amazing. I was so pleased with her friendless and clarity. She was thorough in explaining everything and making sure all my online accounts were set up and up to speed. I would recommend everyone looking to open a new account to go see Fay! 10/10!!!

9pm at night, and no lights at ATM! Very unsafe surroundings for a bank drive up. No parking lot lights on at all either. Very disappointing, and very unsafe!

There Was a hold on my check this bank said it was my employer. Come to find out it was because of the amount and I deposited it using mobile app. The employees couldn't get that information for me or just didn't want to but the 1800 customer service did. I should have read the other reviews before coming here. Bad business or just lazy. I'll never know because I won't come back

Fraudulent charges on account which lead to restricting card. Went to branch for a emergency card, none in stock. Ian assured me that with my license, I can get out any cash that I need for gas and groceries from the counter. Thank you thank you Ian, I was starting to panick..

This place is like hell on earth. One teller and six employees standing around. The only reason I stay with this crap bank is because I'm grandfathered in and don't want to lose those my overdraft protection

My family and i just had the most amazing experience with Suraya from the bank yesterday. She was very helpful and courteous and kind. She helped us open up bank accounts and stayed late until we got everything completed. Thanks Suraya for having excellent customer service. ?

Literally the worst customer service. 5 people in the brand. 1 teller , 1 person working on walk in people and 3 supervisors doing absolutely nothing. No way. I think I need a new bank after 10 years. Horrible.

made a comaint against this branch The lady did not try to help me at all or did not even ask or try to figure out what the procedure was I went to another location and they helped me right away all I had to do was verify my identity I opened an account online and I guess I forgot to put in my ID.Either this branch doesn't know what they're doing you're doing or unwilling to help people of certain color. She told me there was nothing she can do and that I just needed to go bank somewhere else .. The branch that helped me was very knowledgeable about the procedures and what happened and didn't make me feel like I committed fraud myself. As it was not my fault They were very willing to help and it was an easy fast appointment at the telegraph location.....update october 21st 2022 on top of me already hating this location the atm gave me 1 new 100 dollar bill and a broke down ripped up dirty 100 dollar bill with lipstick . lol just another omen not to go there

Amanda Collins should be fired as manager. I was told one thing and then Amanda Collins wouldn’t approve it. Sad when the ATM computer does a better job than the manager. Way to go Bank Of America great hire!

Poor service. I had an appointment at 3 pm with someone named Najia and no one really bothered to make sure I was helped nor did they honor my appointment. I waited till 3:30 and I just left. I would not recommend this location for any appointment based transactions. I’d advise BOFA management to take some action against this behavior!!

Since the Covid, they have had hours until 4 PM and closed more often. This is crazy, they close the other westland office, and they expect working people that work 9-5 to get to the bank. Now I have to take off work to do banking! Because BOA is a large company, interest rates are horrible. I have gone into this bank now 5 times in the last 2 years and each time, it has always been a long wait (this because they closed the other branch). Now on a positive note, the staff has been friendly and helpful. They do have safety deposit boxes which is nice (some branches don't). As a whole, the BOA charge card is actually pretty good if you have your money at BOA. They give you bonuses on your accounts, plus you get additional services. I do like this and that is the only reason we have stayed with BOA. So my only recommendation, hire more people so there is not long waits and then you can stay open longer serve your customers.
