I hired Ralph Meyer to re-do our private drive. We had trouble with communication... we never had a written estimate, we couldn't get call backs to clarify what we wanted done, we didn't get any advanced notice when they started working (they called ~ 1 hour before showing up, when we had been waiting 2 months without any response). They made changes and billed higher than the estimate based on a neighbor and not the road owner. Final work looked good (except where they ram out of material at the end of the road), but there could have been a lot less confusion and frustration with a few simple phone calls along the way.
