Pontiac post office is without power so we couldn’t do our passport appointment (they never call us to cancel, huge waste of time). USPS website says limited passport walk-ins available for Waterford Post Office. Talk to guy, try to tell him our situation with cancelled appointment, jerk just talks over saying “no, no, no we don’t do walk-in appts”. Teach your ppl to be more polite and update your website!

Absolute incompetence complete idiots work here
Person at the counter had no clue how to process shipment on a package. I was told directly they did not know how to do it, and I was instructed to go to the Burlington post office.
If they don’t know how to do their job why are they standing behind the counter and working alone?

Driving on sidewalks is a safety hazard! Unbelievable they allow their employees to do this and continue to let them destroy someone’s lawn!

Oonman refused to mail my parcel via media mail. It was printed music which is listed on USPS website as accepted for media mail. I asked if he could show me what is accepted as media mail. He refused. I showed him the website and description of media mail and he still refused. I asked to speak with a manager and he told me there wasn't one there and then just walked away and ignored me. I tried to ask another employee about it and she snapped at me rudely and told me to go to another post office. I feel like I was treated as an irate customer but I never once raised my voice to this man or did anything out of line. I simply asked for an explanation as to what is allowed to be sent as media mail. Finally, I decided that I was going to put in a formal complaint so I asked him for his name because his name tag was faded and mostly unreadable. He refused. I was able to decipher his name from the little bit that I was able to make out on his name tag and, unsurprisingly, a multitude of other google reviews that specifically mentioned him by name.

I’ve gone here for years and the service at this location has steadily declined, I sell on eBay and have been getting messages left and right about packages not showing up. I will be taking my business elsewhere

Says they do walk in passports from 3-4. When I got there at 359 the man in the back was very rude and told me he couldn't do it without an appointment

This location is hands down the worst post office on the planet. No one communicates with one another or knows what they’re doing. Went in a week ago to submit a permit application and was told by Sylvia I would be contacted within 72 hours for a permit number because she didn’t know how to process it. I waited a week and never heard anything. I called the post office numerous times and no one answers. I call the customer service number and they tell me to go into the post office. I go into the post office and spoke with Oonman and I’m told that Sylvia is on vacation so they don’t have a way to check on the status of the permit application. Asked to speak with a supervisor and was told there isn’t one available to speak with. This whole process is not only confusing but so frustrating. I would avoid this location at all costs.

Had a package dropped off on 9/26 the guy working never even checked it in... waited 2 days and called customer service and they said they would look into it & call me back. They call back and tell me its not in the system, I'll have to go back and see whats happening on their end... I come today for the lady to tell me it's not in the system and file a claim... Smh no wonder this place has a 2.4 rating on here... Now i have to remake a customer order and resend it, thats if she even still wants it because it was supposed to be to her house before the 8th for a BIRTHDAY GIFT!

So tired of this post office! I’ve lived in Waterford for 2.5 years. I ship on average 6-10 things a month. This is the closest post office to me and the next is severely out of my way. Why haven’t you fixed the camera so that us people who have jobs can drop packages off during non-business hours??? It’s not a hard request. The few times that I’ve gone in there right at 9am and am late for work, they wait until the very last minute to open everything. If you all are so unhappy and so unwilling to help people, Retire! Find another career!
