But they returned it without any trouble or restock fee and with all the scammers out there i kind of expected some hassle but the gent was very kind. Full refund. Hope they upgrade to better ones.”

“Hunt's Ace Hardware is our new go-to, and Mike (in the paint department) is our new go-to guy! Although the store is further than the one down the road from our house, Mike's knowledge and experience makes the drive worth it! From paint selection to tools to tips and tricks, we'll look to him for answers!Our local store has not been able to mix paint for weeks! We had to find another Ace. The first one we went to didn't have enough inventory of a particular item, so we tried Hunt's. Not only did they have our item in stock, but Mike helped us tremendously with our project. BONUS! I appreciate the way he patiently guided us without complicating the decision. Hunt's will be our store of choice in the future! What a great experience! Hats off to Mike!”

“Greg the manager is great. I had a fairly complicated window screen order including screen replacement and frame rebuilds. The order did get messed up but he ensured it got corrected and even absorbed the cost of what should have been a greater charge to me due to the mistakes. He was timely in communication and made sure at the end of the day I got what I needed. I would not hesitate to use this ACE again for needs even though there’s another one closer to my house (the other ACE actually told me they don’t do screens after I walked in even though I called ahead and was told on the phone they do). “Purchased a 2 gallon gas container today, filled it with 1.5 gallons of gasoline and while using it on the first attempt it leaked all around the seal onto my hand. I removed the attachment, secured it again, yet it continued to leak. I called Ace and spoke with a gentlemen who stated I could bring it back in for a refund. Once I emptied the container and cleaned it, I returned to the store where the same gentlemen attempted to teach a new employee how to do a return. In doing so he made an error, was unable to correct it, and subsequently put my refund on a gift card. I asked him to refund my credit card but he stated he could not do so and I would need to speak with a manager on Monday. This isn't the type of service I expect from Ace, especially after selling a defective product that leaked gasoline all over the place. Completely unacceptable.Update: Erin spoke with me on Monday, May 8th from this location and was able to issue a refund to my credit card for the effective item and apologized for the inconvenience.”

“Great customer service in this location!! Right when we walked in, we were attended to right away. We had an order pick up and return and it was a smooth and easy transaction. Lots of workers and we were asked a couple times if we needed help. Crowd wasn’t too much and we were in and out. The guy who helped us in self-checkout helped us out and even got a box for us. Super enjoy this!!”

“I went here to get a piece of glass cut for a project i have been working on. I googled how to do it myself, using either a Dremel or one of those glass cutter tools that scores the glass. Unfortunately, my ex-wife got my glass cutter tool i had as part of our divorce. She didn’t actually call out ‘I want the glass cutter tool’, but pretty much got everything in our garage. And the glass cutter was in a box in said garage.Now i just needed to shim off a smidge (that’s a measurement size pros like me use) . The Dremel diamond tip bit to cut off a smidge YouTube video looked simple enough. But apparently it was above my pay grade as i simply just shattered the piece i had.Off to Lowes…I met Selena there. She works there. I told her my story (above), and she didn’t make fun of me for using the word smidge. She also showed empathy for me in the fact that i lost my $7 glass cutting tool in the divorce. Sorta like a virtual hug to my ego of sorts.Then she got to work. Mad dash glass cutting skills and glass knowledge, she had. Cut up some pieces in the exact right size, she did. (Sorry. Talking like Yoda, I am)So i want to give a shout out to Selena (not talking Gomez here - but she probably gets that all the time). Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and all the other good qualities I can think of.I usually go to Home Depot, but every once in a while I struggle to find someone to help me even close to someone like Selena. So thanks Selena!!!”

“I went in to get some CO2 for my kegerator as I had recently replaced two kegs but it was clear that the pressure was very low. Both of the people working in the store were helpful. One person got up to get the CO2 while the other worked with me to ring me out. Both were friendly and jovial and personable (interested in my Jeep, joking about the kegs...). The bottom line is it was a pleasurable experience and I left with exactly what I needed in less than 10 minutes.”

Linda was able to get me exactly what I wanted for each room and the price was the same as the online prices. I was not wearing anything fancy and got great service.
