I don’t know the guy’s name but he was really helpful and patient and not only that but the truck I rented unexpectedly had a dolly and protective coverings to move furniture, that was cool and was a good experience

The last time I ever go to ANY U-Haul: try to get propane at 6:30pm as it’s the only time I have available during their hours. I was greeted with a horrible attitude and eye roll, being lectured rudely about “next time don’t come after 6:30”. I’ll go spend my money elsewhere. No problem. I’ll also rent my trucks, by my moving materials… elsewhere.

Make sure you do a full inspection of your truck including checking milage and gas before leaving the parking lot. I drove 12 miles today and was charged for 6 Gallons of gas. I called to dispute the charge but because I didn’t dispute how much gas was in the tank before leaving I was liable for the extra charge. No one in the store told us we need to dispute how much was in the tank before leaving they just had us sign paperwork without explaining it. It’s my fault for not reading through it completely but it seems like a scam when you can clearly see I only drove 12 miles.

The process of checking in was very easy. The place is very clean. The bathroom was clean. I rented a trailer it was fairly inexpensive.

Ok, there's nothing glamorous or even really desirable about renting a moving truck. But it can be easy, straightforward and quick.U-Haul did that, including the pre-check in so the actual pick up goes quickly.The folks here were polite, professional,and efficient, explaining everything that needed to explained without wasting my time. Got to love that.When it came time to drop off that night, I rolled in 6 minutes before the cutoff. The guy working was smiling and pleasant, even happy to joke with me for a minute and inform me of how the rest of the process went.I'd happily use this location again.

Lonnie was incredibly helpful and professional. Trucks were clean and had gas. Ran perfectly, they have everything in this huge store to help you move and they are efficient and have every vehicle you could want. 5 stars.

I am moving accross town today, went into this UHAUL because they opened early. I had an extremely rude UHAUL employee assist me in paying for the 2- 24x24 wardrobe boxes.No offer to help load and didn’t even want to help me in the first place. THEN I get home and the glue that holds the wardrobe boxes together is gone, box is not a box but wide open and no way to repair, lays completely flat!!I call to get a refund because I am moving TODAY and I’m not taking broken boxes that I can’t even USE with me to my new home and I’m told I NEED TO BRING THE broken, unusable boxes back to UHAUL for a refund.I pleaded with the manager Larry - mentioning today is moving day and I need my money back, also explaining how extremely inconvenient this entire experience was and I offered to send videos and pics of BROKEN BOX. I was told the only way for a refund it to bring the BROKEN boxes in because they need them for inventory!! ITS all quite laughable and upsetting on a day that is already stressful enough.He said THERE IS ABSOLUTELY no way I can get a refund without bringing the BROKEN boxes back! I’ll settle this by disputing it with my bank and filing a complaint online. TERRIBLE customer service! If the boxes weren’t $16 a piece I wouldn’t care.

When I went to pickup the U-Haul at 0000 hrs. The truck was blocked in and couldn't be moved. However that wasn't an issue because they didn't put the key in the box anyway. Then when I went to pickup the truck after the location opened they had blocked the truck in even more. I had to switch trucks and the person working the counter apologized but didn't really do anything to try and fix the matter or try to keep me as a customer in the future.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I got to the location 10 minutes before close to return a rental, they said we are closed and we won’t help you. Absolutely rude and slammed the door in my face. Young teenage or early 20s kid. Will not return to location

They charge for damages you didn’t do when you don’t purchase their coverage. I moved a love seat (removed the legs) and put it in cushion side down and they tried saying we scratched paint on the outside passenger wheel well area. An area we didn’t even go near nor load anything close to or unload anything close to that area of the vehicle.

Worst experience I've possibly ever had with any "professional" company.. I called off work because the only time available was a 7am drop off, after making an adjustment with the order as far as tow capacity (my fault) they canceled my order and made it a day earlier without telling me, fine I'll adjust my schedule.. I dropped my truck off at 2:45 for a 3:00pm appointment and received a call 3hours later (time of completion) stating they couldn't do because the technician had car issues... another refund... never again

U-Haul closes their propane a half an hour early than their actual business hours notate. Made a drive all the way up to U-Haul only to find out that they were not gonna service me even though they were still open. Poor customer service and transparency

Indoor storage units are Very good and clean. You can park Indoors for loading and Unloading. 24 hour access available. You can access anytime of day or night. Rental vans are great and clean. Employees are all good.!! Try to get the Indoor storage units. Building is heated during winter ??

I ordered $17 worth of boxes just before going out of town. I came in to pickup the boxes 2 weeks later after placing the order as I just returned out of town. The male at the counter lied and said the boxes were picked up and said he couldn’t find my order in the system. Also, lied and said my order was canceled but I never received a cancellation email nor a refund. He clearly thought I was trying to “steal” $17 worth of boxes. That’s fine, that will be last $17 you will get out of me. I will never return to this location. Ridiculous and immature.

Uhaul is fine, but the Troy location in MI is not. I reserved a truck from One location and the drop was due at Troy. I had it for 24 hrs - 11/25/2022-11/26/2022. I called the 800 number to have it extended to 2pm and it was approved. I end up turing in the truck between 1:10p-1:15p. Not too long after turing it in, I received an additional charge. I call the 800 number backa and they stated the I did not go over the alloted hrs and it turned in a min later after grace period, but that didn't matter since I was approved until 2p. They transferred me to the General Manager at Troy and he stated that the charge was correct because I was over the limit. I had to hang up on him because he was going to get chewed out. I called the 800 number back and spoke with Nathan. I explained the issue and he said the refund will be processed today. 5 - 10 mins later I received and notification from my bank and email from Uhaul and the General Manager from Troy. The local Uhaul tried to over on me. Call the regional office because they will make sure you are treated fairly.
