I am a Level 3 certified ski instructor (Highest level) These people are fantastic. They will spend lots of time with you to get you fit into the RIGHT gear at a fair price. Don't buy online you will not get the right fit for you especially in boots. Also Denny runs the best tuning shop in Northern Mi. I have all my skis taken care of at Don Orr. Recently my daughter and son came back from Illinois and NC to buy ski boots they both were All State racers for TC West in their day here in TC, they went to Don Orr and bought their boots there. This year they will be bringing their kids.

Got a nice new pair of ski boots for myself here. With the purchase I also learned all the features of the latest ski boots. The staff helped me fitting the boots is really knowledgeable and helpful. I tried many pairs and he made certain I chose the pair that is suitable with my skill level while staying warm and comfortable. The price is also comparable with ones you can get from the internet. There are also other equipments and clothing for all snow sports here. Pay a visit for all your needs for winter activities.

I recently bought a pair of rear entry Nordica boots at your shop and couldn't be more pleased. The boots are incredibly comfortable for my wide foot with several bunions. No alterations of the boots were required, the fit was very precise after Eric's boot preparation. The ease of entry and egress from the boots is also a big plus. I had a chance to ski the boots today and felt like a youngster again carving up the mountain. My thanks to the staff at Don Orr and especially Eric for his patience and care.

LOVE these guys/gals! Always helpful and knowledgeable. Great selection of gear. Sold us boots that ended up needing some special adjustments, we showed up on a Sunday and they knew just what needed to be done. Took those boots and worked their special magic. No more uncomfortable boots. ? I totally recommend this business, there is a reason they are northwestern MI’s go to ski shop. Thanks so much, we love you guys!
