Family member had a prescription sent here after a hospital stay.
Showed up, was kindly told they needed 15 minutes to fill part of the order. Okay, we grabbed groceries.
30 minutes later, we come back. Different person answers the window and basically tells us to F' off because they're too busy and they couldn't fill it (despite being just told they were filling it). Closed the window on me while I was explaining we were just told we could come back in 15 minutes.
We left.
10 minutes late the prescription was ready. "Can't fill it, right"

CVS caused me to burn expensive gasoline unnecessarily. My doctor advised me to get a tetanus booster. I tried to use the CVS web site to make an appointment; it said none was available. I phoned the CVS pharmacy to confirm that; a clerk said I could come to the store and get the shot. When I showed up, confusion. One pharmacy clerk said CVS doesn’t offer tetanus shots. Fortunately, a second clerk nearby said CVS does - but I had to make an appointment online. I said I tried to do so yesterday, but the site said no appointments were available. A third clerk, who happened to walk by and overheard us, said that meant the store’s allotment of tetanus vaccine - if it indeed had any - was allocated to other customers.
I’m on a pension. I can get by on it. But to do that, I must avoid making unnecessary trips and wasting expensive gasoline. I get it: that’s not CVS’s problem. Now I get something else: CVS has lots of competitors; to save money by avoiding wasted trips, I’ll use them.

The level of incompetence here is astounding! I have been patronizing this pharmacy for the past year, and after today's visit I am done. I phoned my GP's office roughly two weeks ago to request a refill on a prescription. I get a text the next day from GP suggesting that the refill was sent. Weeks go by and I hear nothing from CVS, so I try calling the pharmacy to ask about the prescription. Instead of speaking with a person, I get a poorly designed automated system that was intent on me not speaking with a person. The best option was being sent to an answering machine with the hope that they might be in touch within a few days. I decide to drive to the pharmacy to ask about my refill and am told that it was filled and returned to the shelf since I did not pick it up after "I was sent a text". When I asked what number they sent it to, they had an old phone number of mine from four years ago. If I had not requested that they change it the past two visits, this might not have been so frustrating. The pharmacist (Laura) then tells me that they needed my insurance. This was odd, since I have had multiple scripts filled there and my insurance has not changed. I asked what happened and was told that it was a new account. When I suggested that I have been here multiple times, the pharmacist had the audacity to suggest that I had not! I then asked why my account was purged and remade, and was told that "they would not do that". So at this point, Laura is calling me a liar and starting to display some real narcissist traits. She can do no wrong, and I must be to stupid to know my own pharmacy that I have been using for a year. This also begs the question how they had an old phone number of mine from four years ago? Clearly, they erased my account and would not own up to it. I then give her my insurance information and am told that I have no prescription coverage. Even though I have had coverage for years under the same insurer, Laura in her infinite wisdom, knew something that no one else did.
I am transferring my prescription and am done with this place.

There is a new sheriff in town at the Traverse City CVS and he’s great! The store is much cleaner, more organized, easier to navigate, and just an overall better experience. Thank you and kudos to Ryan!

The people who work at the registers and such are fine, but the person who I get on the phone in the pharmacy is the WORST. No people skills at all. Zero kindness or even common politeness.
I filled out a survey that CVS sent after the first experience I had with this person and got a reply back from managment saying that they were "sorry", but they just can't hire enough people and are struggling. I get that, but you're just keeping around an awful person because...they're there? Way to go.

This is the worst CVS I have ever gone to. I will never go again. STAY AWAY!!! I needed a prescription filled in a timely manner that I could pick up at the drive-thru because I can't walk due to the prescription that I need... 24 hours after the prescription was supposed to be filled... It still wasn't ready. When I called I was rudely told they don't have enough staff and the only way I could get it was to walk into the store and ask for it at the register at which point they would then expedite it. Completely unacceptable. Rude. When I asked a speech to a manager I was hung up on. They asked me if I would like to work in the pharmacy to help them. This place is a joke. All my prescriptions are being transferred. Do not use this business.

I don’t typically like to post negative comments. But my experience with the CVS on front Street has been terrible. Whenever I try to get through on the phone it takes me more than 15 minutes to even speak to a person when I do finally get a person they either hang up or are extremely rude, I just got finished trying to talk to the pharmacy about a medication that I need that I’ve been trying for a week to get, she responds with well We are just short staffed and proceeds to hang up on me. Very unprofessional

Perhaps picking up the fan in the front street window would help!

It's a corporate outlet so it's hard to expect people who work there to care. They epitomize that mindset. This is truly a 0 star place if that was an allowable score.
