Love this place, but it’s pretty annoying to have prices per glass for wine then not serve glasses only flights.

I've been going to Cherry Republic all the time but this is the first time I had a bad experience with your staff. Rhonda, an old lady wearing red, works at the check out counter today July 5. She got visibly upset when I asked for a box for my purchases. Mind you, this was prior to ringing the items.
When she did took out a box, it was so tiny and out of proportion to the items. She kept folding the packages containing chocolate covered cherries. I proceeded to ask for a larger box to which she answered sarcastically, "how much bigger do you want the box to be?" Because I did not want to ruin my gifts, I ask for slightly larger box ,which she did. What happened next was unbelievable, she continued to fold and squeeze the packages to put inside the box although the packages would fit in as it is. The point is I don't want the chocolate covered cherries ruined. She was very rude but I did not want to make a scene.
Do yourselves a favor, she is not meant to work in front. Make her work somewhere where she does not have to speak to people - she is ruining it for Cherry Republic and its customers.

It is an amazing place one should visit while in Traverse City. They sell variety of food made of or with addition of cherry. You can taste lots of things.

This store has the radical Trans/Pride flag hanging in the window. We felt very unwelcome and offended. Please remove the pride flag and make all your customers feel welcome!!

Great selection of products made with locally (MI) grown cherries. One can also taste some of the products in the store, which is helpful and leads to more sales (we ended up buying more of the products after tasting them). Friendly and helpful staff.

Great place to stop in at if you’re along the Traverse strip. Even if you’re not looking to purchase an item, sampling the various cherry-based items can be quite stimulating and enjoyable. Went in with my wonderful family and left feeling satisfied and fulfilled. Recommend to anyone open-minded and ready for adventure!
