“Personal service! We started with LMCU a little over five years ago in GR. Due to the intimate service provided by Erin (previous TC employee), Nick (previous TC employee), Charity and Spencer, we use LMCU for almost ALL our financial needs. I do wish their construction loan process was easier to obtain. Unfortunately it is the one service of theirs we don't use. We even closed accounts with two other financial institutions located closer to our home in Elk Rapids because service doesn't compare.In addition, LMCU's technology is superior to other institutions. Features that are standard with LMCU are not even known about by the other institutions. This surprised me considering one of the institutions I speak about is a well known conglomerate. LMCU's check deposit is a time saver. I use their app multiple times a day. And aside from having a rapore with the TC teller line employees, every time I've needed help with an issue (sometimes big), the customer service center reps in GR have always made our load lighter by helping.Thank you Spencer, Charity and the rest of the LMCU team for actually putting the customer/member FIRST. “Well I just left a review for Lake Michigan Credit Union today and only felt it fair to leave one for Greenstone who I worked with Brent Voss a couple years ago and did a full Buy/Sell cycle. He was easy and fun to work with. To keep it short and sweet if you are looking for a loan you should at least give them a shot at it. What sparked this review is I got a letter today saying LMCU sold my note to Fannie which I thought my business was going to stay in-house/local (that is partly my fault but I thought that is mainly how Credit Unions work). Greenstone keeps loans in-house. So beware if you think you are going local you might not be. I am not trying to knock LMCU either for I was not disappointed with their work and you should do you diligence and give them a call too but felt appropriate to share some differences. Had I known that i might of gone with Greenstone again and paid a little more (this property was out of their wheel house and were doing me a favor so it was a little more expensive) or gone with a broker out of Chicago for 25 points less. I an not sure. Brent I should of left you a great review a while ago regardless sorry on the delay.”

“Big shoutout to Dan Goethals at this branch. Super professional, very helpful, polite and knowledgable. I had to drop in to add my name to a joint account with my husband, who had it set it up at another Chase location on S. Airport Road (he was not as happy as I was, guess he needed to come downtown). I dreaded that I'd be in bank purgatory while it all got situated but I was in and out in under 10 minutes and everything was set up perfectly. I'd been in one other time in the spring with my mom, and had the same pleasant experience. Really nice staff that proactively try to help people. Just all around high marks. *there is metered parking on Front Street, and also in the back. I do also believe there are a few Chase spots in the back (though don't quote me on that). *If you are looking for a credit card, the Chase Sapphire is AMAZING. Great rewards and double points on dining and travel. I end up with a lot of bonus cash to spend on really fun stuff like rental cars on trips to Traverse City. (ha)”

Jeff Davis helped us with a very difficult Identity theft issue, insured our funds were safe, helped us transfer all auto payments and just went over and above to ensure that we were okay. He then followed up the next week to make sure everything was fine. 5/3 is an outstanding organization. They have great products, easy to use online banking and bill pay, but beyond that, they really provide excellence in customer service. Highly recommend.”
