Nice jewelry, staff is a little rude. My boyfriend called to set something aside for a friends birthday. I came to pick it up & to buy, staff yelled across store if they knew anything about putting a bracelet aside. No one seemed to know anything. Eventually figured it out but the older gentlemen said "get me a gun, I need to go home" really unprofessional & slightly embarrassing. Probably won't come here again.

We always get jewelry and gifts here. I found the perfect bracelet and rosary for my niece for her first communion. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Went there with my wife to get her ring appraised for insurance purposes. Very friendly and fast service. They even polished the ring, and it looked brand new. BTW, their pricing is fair with excellent quality. If you bought the ring from Maloof, appraisal and polishing are free. Highly recommended.

And buying here a few years and Larry is always super helpful best deals in town and never have to second-guess when they give me a quote for a jewelry piece. Highly recommend.

What a selection so many choices. Found so many beautiful things ❤ Carmen goes above most. She makes sure you are heard and you receive to the best of her ability, what you came in for.

I've been there twice for a simple watch battery change. Both times, I took a number and watched the staff take walk ups before calling the next number. And both times Bern told they weren't comfortable doing the battery change in either watch, neither of which were anything special. I won't be back for a third time.

So I'm at Maloofs today, I'm 53 yo lived in scs my whole life and have bought countless pieces of jewelry here. Today I walk in pick a number and wait. I'm number 63 and they are on 52. I was fine, I knew it would be a wait but I'm fine with it. All of the sudden these two gentlemen walk in go to the counter and have at least 3 or 4 associates helping them and ignoring everyone that has a ticket. Come to find out by listening to their conversation that they were from the Lions. And they were buying a huge diamond ring. It's sad, no I wasn't buying a huge ring but I have been a loyal customer for years. Its owners of establishments like this this that forget were they came from and are 100% money hungry. Mr Maloofs or whatever your name is. Your parents would be ashamed of you. Go buy jewelry at a place that treats their customers equal.

Service here is very slow and the employees seem to give precedence to serving customers who are older. The jewelry repair is reasonably priced and they seem to have a wide jewelry selection. If you look younger you may have to wait for a long time before you're helped though.

I’ve lived in The Shores for more than 40 years and Maloof’s has always been the place to go…until my last two visits.Took two brand new watches in to be resized for my wrist. The woman I talked to took the first watch back, a rather pricey Movado, only to return it scratched. Unfortunately, I did not notice it was scratched until she had left with the second, a titanium banded Citizen. I grabbed the nearest employee and asked them to have her stop immediately as I didn’t want her to damage both my brand new watches. I watched him approach, tell her to stop and she just continued on. Unbelievable. When she finally came back I explained that I wanted a new link. She refused and said, I can have the jeweler polish this up. I explained that I was not interested in that and that I had come into the store with a brand new watch and I intended to leave with a brand new watch, not a damaged one that has been polished. She refused to hand me my watch and insisted on taking it back to the jeweler. I said, if you want to bring him out here for me to discus it with him than fine but don’t not do a thing until I have a chance to talk to him. It was around this point that she felt it necessary to make the comment “Well did you even buy it from us?!” I replied with “why would that matter?! I fully intended on paying you to do this and you are an authorized dealer for both brands!” We exchanged a few more words and she proceeded to go out back and returned alone, without the jeweler and with my watch polished. At this point I was fuming but, whatever. I have my stuff back. I said “What do I owe you?” And she basically said “just leave” like I was the jerk in this situation. At this point I left with my watches with zero intention of ever returningFast forward a few days and I discovered that she failed to give me all the parts to the Citizen. Great, now I have to go back. I found the first person who wasn’t that lady, explained that I just wanted my parts and I be on my way. Nope, not good enough I guess. The lady felt the need to come over and insult me. The owner (I believe) approached and I explained I just want my parts and I’ll be on my way. Still not good enough. The lady continues to run her mouth, blatantly lie about what had happened, yanked the box for the citizen out of my hand, damaged the box while attempting to open it to haphazardly toss my parts in it and tossed it back to me. All while the owner stood there and defended her. I actually laughed at him and asked him why he thought I would come into his store and make this up. Like, what did I stand to gain here? I didn’t buy the watch from them, it’s over and done with, I just wanted my parts and she decided to force further discussion.Anyhow, I’m venting now. Sorry for the rant. Maybe save yourself the headache and don’t bother having your expensive watch resized here.

Been dealing with Jimmy at Maloof's since '85 best jewelry store in SCS. They did a fantastic job transferring my MIL writing onto a piece of jewelry so I could give it to my wife for her birthday, her parents are no longer with us. Thanks again for another great piece of jewelry, she loves it.
