I have nothing but praise and great appreciation for the Portage (MI) post office and all the people who work there. The folks behind the counter are always friendly, fast, and efficient. The parking is more than sufficient. The location is great. Even the selection of greeting cards is good. I hope that this location is never closed!

Carrier said my package was undeliverable. I was outside watching and they never tried. Saw me in their rear view as they were leaving my cul de sac and skipped my neighbors just so I couldn’t catch up to them.

This post office is, by far, the WORST I have ever had dealings with. Time after time after time I have ordered package pickup and my carrier delivers the mail but just can't seem to do her job and PICK UP MY PACKAGES! It just happened again today. So now I have to load up 10 huge packages and drive all the way into Portage to drop them off at the post office there so they will be scanned today. I have complained so many times I have lost count. If I could give a minus 100 stars, I would.

This is my favorite post office in the Kalamazoo area. The staff are very friendly (and always smiling), the line usually goes fast, and if there is an enormous line, as there was today, someone will come out with a portable counter to help people with easy orders (package drop-off, stamps). There are several handicap spots right in front (thank you!) - the shortest walk from the handicap parking to the door of any of our local post offices. I will drive out of my way to go here, and am pleased that we have such a nice, clean, friendly post office.

Often receive wrong mail. Mail that says "do not bend" is bent. Today I got my diploma in the mail and they bent it to shove it in the mailbox!

I never can get through to any Kalamazoo Post Office, even when my question doesn't fall into the categories that it says I should call the 1-800 number for. Amazingly, a real person always answers this phone and they've always been very pleasant and very helpful!
