Dropped off over 100 thank you cards following my wedding (most of which that had local addresses) on October 3rd. Not a single one of the recepients received over a month later, it is now November 9th. Opened numerous claims which were closed without resolution… have called and left messages with with customer affairs locally with no help. I will never ever ever visit the Royal Oak location again.

Twice now l was going to mail a letter in the large drop boxes along 2nd street.2 weeks ago about 1030 a.m.one was full, with letters showing and could be grabbed by the wrong person.l only go to the chiropractor in Royal Oak .So l kept it and mailed it at my own post office. So today l thought l'd try again but check the times first. It was 10:45 and the times said 1p.m and 5 p.m. l couldn't believe it,being a retired window clerk .l would think they'd be cleared out early in the morning or overnight as l'm sure much is deposited locally after 5:00.3 of them were full and had mail showing showing.Unbelievable.lf you have lost mail ,maybe it never got in the system!

The ladies at this location have always greeted me with a smile and often by name. I'm in there during business hours 3 or 4 times a month for the last 7 years and they appear to be hardworking. In that time, I've never felt like I needed to post a negative review so when I was looking for their operating hours it occurred that I should post this positive review. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because I hate parking. The meters out front are horrible because it's not possible to run in & out without dorms more than pocket change. The saving grace is that you can park in the deck without paying but sometimes finding a spot can be tricky.

Lauren( usually working on the far right end) is absolutely the most rude person I have met in customer service. As a person who is supposed to abide by great customer service, the way she conducted herself was completely unnecessary. I came to pick up a package that I missed because I wasn’t home to sign for it. When I was trying to explain that to her her comment back was so condescending and rude because I guess the way I tried to explain it wasn’t good enough for her. the slip which was in my mailbox that I was supposed to show her was dirty and she made a statement on how shes “not touching that” I proceeded to tell her that it was just coffee I had spilled on it she said “I don’t care I’m not touching it” as she takes my license from me which should be way more concerning to touch.(jokes on her) The way she spoke and the attitude she gave off was very entitled and rude and completely uncalled for. She should find a new profession ifshe thinks it’s okay to talk to people like that

I live two blocks away. Every single time I go in the workers have a huge attitude problem. There is no sense of urgency and the patrons are not accommodated well. Horrific client service over and over again. Please fire and start over with people who are friendly and efficient.

Glenda is by far the most disgusting human being I have ever encountered! A friend told me the following story and I feel compelled to share:"I received a slip in my PO box that I had a package. I approached Glenda with the slip and my Id and she proceeded to grab my boxes from the back. After she brought packages from the back, she read the original shipping label and began questioning me about the value of the contents inside. All of sudden she was unable to hand over my items, claiming some nonsense that the COD was not readable. She is so trifling she had the nerve to say that I shouldn't have a PO box. I guess Glenda does not like affluent African Americans, because she didn't think I deserved the possessions that she stole from me. She and her co-worker and her then post master Mike Q pulled off a theft scheme. Since they would not give me my packages, I called USPS to have them re-delivered. Apparently the same day all three boxes were lost! (Stolen)After this was investigated I was issued a formal acknowledgement of wrongdoings via mail, but never received it because my mail is constantly tampered with from Glenda's helpers! The tampering has been constant for 7 yrs now. Nothing has been done and Glenda is still there, probably stealing and wearing that horrible blond wig! Avoid this place if you value quality shipping services and don't want to go postal!"Pease be aware of this place!!! The rude and unethical workers are not held accountable for anything! Avoid avoid avoid!!

Not the one to ever write reviews but this location is a simple disaster. Terrible attitude on all employees - they are rude, arrogant and carefree. Would recommend to go out of your way not to use this location.

I had a chance to visit this branch on Thursday and I was assisted by Glenda. She was amazing and able to help me complete my passport application. Thank you Glenda for your phenomenal customer service! You went above and beyond!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️if the world had mote people like Glenda the world would be a better place. USPS is so lucky to have this incredible individual representing them.Today was my third passport appointment. My first appointment (USPS Birmingham) was canceled due to the camera for the photo not working. My second appointment (USPS Clawson) was canceled because the cleck didn't come into work.My trip to USPS Royal Oak was my third attempt. I made sure to come prepared (or so I thought) & arrived early.Once at the desk for passport; I was informed that I had the wrong form completed for a renewal and that I didn't need an appointment to complete what I was trying to do.I'm sure not everybody is like this, but I have a lot of anxiety around unexpected situational changes. I felt like I was going to faint. But Glenda's gentle voice, calm demeanor, and generous about of patience helped me get through this overwhelming moment.I was able to submit everything I needed to get my passport updated, and I could not have done it without her. Thank You!!

Sent a small gift to my son. THIS office of USPS lied and said they were unable to deliver last evening (my son lives in a townhome that is very accessible for packages.) Today they put on the tracking that they put the item in a PARCEL LOCKER. WHERE IS THAT? And didn't the business from which I ordered PAY for the item to be shipped to my son? This has to be illegal for them to withhold an item I paid for and have us GUESS where it is. Worst USPS I have ever heard of. And guess who doesn't answer their phones? Yep. Too busy messing with people's packages I guess.

A few months ago our landlord removed the mail slots from the mailroom in our apartment building and replaced them with mailboxes in front of each unit.Annoyed because this was done without the permission of the postmaster the post office responded by refusing to use the new mailboxes. At first they refused to even let the tenants pick up their mail at the pod office, effectively holding our mail hostage. We had to threaten going to the media just to get them to allow us to pick up our mail.Eventually the post office and our landlord reached an agreement and the post office was supposedly to resume delivering our mail. And they sometimes do. At least when it comes to junk mail. Packages, bills, medicine? They continue holding it even though the agreement was made that they’d deliver. Customer service at its worst.

Was braces for an unpleasant experience, as I’m usually used to at post offices. Was very pleasant surprised by the wonderful woman who helped me with my return. She was so sweet and helpful. Such a great surprise.

I don't appreciate the video cameras looking at my license plate..98 percent of United Postal Service HAVE (FREE PARKING). BUT there is away around that to...It's not senior citizen and/or handicap friendly. The door are not automated doors.WORRIED ABOUT PARKING ISN"T THE BIG ISSUE THERE...lol

Gone Postal? I had a friend from out of state who was a letter carrier who wanted to see the place the Royal Oak post office shooting happened. Barely any place people in the place and I was trying to send out a package through international mail. I have a medical condition and I was warm, I let out a sigh. And the Woman with braids who was acting like a manager yelled at me for my attitude problem. I told her I didn't say anything, and she said" If your goal is to bully customers "yo' actions" If USPS wants to bully customers they may as well close all of them now.
