Love coming to this location. Such friendly staff with great personalities! Everyone is so friendly and willing to go out of their way to help! I was quickly helped and on my way! I will definitely be coming back!!!

This location should be avoided. The spotty guy behind the counter is trying to launder money by over charging customers for printing. I needed a return label printed that was needed to return something from a online store. He was wanting to charge me $2 a sheet for that. I told him the Troy store doesn't charge at all for this. He replied that they are a busy store and toner is expensive. I said I'm not paying for something that should be taken care of by UPS. They only charge 39 cents on the website for that store.So I won't be going to this location again since they will try and scam you for things like this.They are still trying to justify after replying back to me saying that they think it's justified to charge $2 a page for printing when you can do it for $0.39 to the app. This place will go out of business because they're nothing but people trying to rip people off. Get new owners in there that will treat customers correctly instead of trying to scam them. I don't see why printing a return label is any different than printing any other page for the difference of a $1.60. trying to justify ripping people off because they want people to pay for their toner, that's called overhead and that's what running a business is all about. Having overhead for the cost of running your daily business and taking care of your customers. I would have not had a problem if they charged me $0.39 for the page but trying to pad and line their pockets is unacceptable and everyone that goes here and reads this should know about it.

Best customer service and attitude of all time. I needed to put a stop on a package I had dropped off and they graciously, with zero complaints, hunted through a mountain of boxes for at least 15mins. I’ve never met a friendlier team at a shipping center

Dropped off a package May 17, 2021 for return to Amazon. Status is still label printed and I have been re-charged for the item I was returning.When I call the store , it re-directs me to corporate and a recording that tells me the same thing. Not a happy camper.

The 1 star is for UPS store system and not aimed at the employees. I patronize this location June 14, I received help from Rich he was helpful and professional. When it came time to make my payment for my package. There was some type of glitch with their system and I chipped my debit card twice due to the first time, it looked as though the payment didn't go through on his end (as Rich stated to me), but the payment actually did go through. I was double charged $4.39 (at the time neither Rich nor I knew this). The following day June 15, I checked my bank account and it show that the $4.39 was posted twice (taken out) in my account. I called UPS and spoke with Rich and informed him of the situation, I also stated I would go to my bank and get a print off of the double charge. I did such, when I arrived to the UPS, the women that were helping me were only able to give me a print off showing that their store showed a one time transaction of $4.39. However my bank statement print off show a double charge. I had to go back to my bank and file a dispute. It may seem like it's only $4.39 but it's the principle. UPS has nothing in order to fix a transaction mistake that can financially inconvenience a customer. I'm glad it was only $4.39 and not $200 because if the amount was bigger they were not able to correct a mistake caused by their system. Something that could've been corrected easily with proof from bank showing the double charge was not easily corrected and was an inconvenience for me. I more than likely won't use UPS again nor recommend them due to their system not being updated or current to fix minor transaction problems.

So many things wrong here I hardly know where to begin. Brought in a small bubble envelope on a Wednesday afternoon that I needed to arrive by Saturday. There is a significant up charge for this. Not only did it not arrive by Saturday, it had still not arrived by Monday. When I called the store, Kathy advised that I wait to see if the package got lost. By Wednesday, not only had it not arrived at its destination, a note in the tracking summary said it had been left at a retail store for pick up!? I was never informed that it wouldn’t be delivered as addressed; in fact if I had not looked at tracking, I would never have known it was in limbo somewhere as it was a surprise package that the recipient didn’t expect. Very confusing as I have sent packages to this address numerous times. When I called again and explained the situation, I was put on hold. Eventually, “manager” Connor came on the line. I was told that 1) no delivery dates are guaranteed, and 2) the driver makes the decision whether to deliver due to COVID, and that it was highly unlikely he could get it rerouted to the recipient. Honestly just the nuttiest answer. This envelope literally could have been dropped in the mailbox. I was also told that if the recipient didn’t pick it up within 7 days, it would be shipped back to me. I’m relatively new to this area; have never had this type of issue with UPS. Obviously each individual store/manager can make a huge difference in level of customer service. Definitely finding a new location for future shipping needs.

Don't go there.. They want to charge $1.5 per page to send a fax, plus cover page....nothing like ripping off people who have no cheap access to libraries which are closed due to covid

I always enjoyed going to this location until the last time I dropped something to get sent. My address was adjusted by the employee typing in my info because “they never used that zip code before” so chose to pick a different zip code that they have used before. while my package was supposed to be there overnight instead it never made it I had to go deliver the package myself in the end. What a waste of time, and money. I will never trust to do business with this ups anymore.

They overrided the address I had for my package to a new one they thought was correct. The package was shipped then stuck in limbo because the address was in correct and needed more information. I called this specific UPS to talk to an attendant for assistance and they dropped the call after I talked to someone and they put me on hold. I called back and a representative started to help me then said her computers were down temporarily and she would call me back. She never called me back. Don’t go here unless you want your packages to get lostEDIT: In response to the owner's comment below. The associate I spoke with did not update the address like he says. The address was updated after I called the UPS in Palmdale, CA (the destination of the package) and the associate at that UPS assisted in changing the address.While the Sender did sign and verify the value of the changed address, as is store policy, it's also probably wise to include in the store policy that they should recommend any changes that the UPS system comes up with so that packages don't become lost

Kathy was super friendly and helpful with me. I had a really big package which was not prepared and she helped me package it and kindly organized everything with me. This was extremely refreshing as most of the time people will not go out of their way to help you with things like this. It was a small thing but it makes a big difference. Thank you Kathy!

The store was very busy, line went out the door. They had someone organizing and directing the line so that helped. 6 feet apart as well. There was a lady that helped us that kept my very active 5 year old busy. She gave her 2 shipping labels to color and said they were stickers. She was thrilled. The employee also was *very* patient with us since we had a lot of things to notarize and signatures just right. She never made us feel like we were an inconvenience. We were already stressed about the process so she made it easier on us.

Highly recommend using this store... I usually always use. I was in a hurry today and decided to try fed ex at the 14 & Woodward Birmingham store. I had the worst experience there today. It's funny how a rude employee can just ruin a business for you. Fast forward I got refund and took my package to UPS where I usually go. I walked in and Kathy and Conner greeted me and was so helpful. Made me realize I will always use this store and I can never return to fed ex. I've been in the UPS store for years and always get the best treatment. Conner has always been a relief when I see him and I have a fragile package to ship. It's always no worries we got this. On another note fed ex wanted to charge me $93.29 and UPS charged me $53.64 for same package, same shipping requirements. Kathy was quick, sufficient and pleasant to deal with specially after my other ordeal. I will always be loyal to UPS after this.
