Bad customer support. I bought a $4 clock and when I got it home the numbers were very hard to see. I went back to return 3 days later and before I could ask I was told "No returns, no matter what". I understand rules and polices but I also understand customer support. All I wanted was a $4 credit for something that didn't work. Oh well, I know no one cares but I won't shop there. It would've been so easy to give a store credit and I would've spent that, and more, right then and there. It's too bad what is happening with small businesses. This is the exact reason why Amazon is taking over, because they understand customer support. Darn, wish it went down differently. Maybe this will help to open their eyes a little. I'm just one customer and I don't matter, that's very clear. Okay, I'll stop being a "jerry" and wish them the best, but next time you may want to have an open mind just for a second.

If there is such a thing as a high-end Salvation Army, this would be it. The window displays walking in almost made me think I was at the wrong place. There were not a lot of home goods and almost no kids or baby clothes. The prices were double that of most Salvation Army stores.

Relocation to Florida, loaded my suits winter suits in the trunk, drove to 4th street Salvation Army. Wouldn't take them because they weren't in a bag?? Some of this sports coats cost > 1200 at Barney's of New York! Hmmm. Gave them to the housekeepers husband!

Royal Oak Salvation Army has the rudest employees. I have been there 3 times with very high quality clothing and its been a very negative experience each time. The employees are short tempered and rude. They make you feel like they are doing you a favor and they are very selective on what they will take. Their drop off is in the middle of the street and they wont let you get out of your car. I will not donate here again. I recommend you take your donation to St Vincent DePaul. The people who work there are friendly and appreciative of your donations. They have restrictions as well but are friendly and courteous in their explanation.

I was making a donation. The alley was closed. Pulled around to the front. Metered parkingfree for 15 minutes. Counter clerk refused to take the items I carried in. Required to make donation around the corner. Never taking items there again.

DON’T GO HERE!!!!! Employee told me I could look through some clothes that were going to be put out but hadn’t been priced yet. She said you were bring whatever items to her manager to see the price they would be so I could purchase them. She came back and let me know the few items I had picked out couldn’t be sold. This is because these specific items were being sent off to be sold online. Glad they go through the donations and take out all the good items. What a scam of a place!!!!!!! ???

While the store is big, it is still somehow such a small selection. They refuse to let you break up “collections” or matching sets. If two cups are the same you must buy the two. Same goes if the collection is a 12 piece set. No one wants 12 of the same cups especially, when some are chipped.

This store sucked. I saw a funky sweater I liked looked at the tag JCPENNEY and was 25 dollars. Then I walked out. Their prices are outrageous. Never going back. Easily the worst thrift store I have ever been to.

Holy moly. $17 for a used shirt with deoderant stains, that was DONATED for free? I literally drove there to donate stuff, saw how much they were charging people, and drove to Grace Centers of Hope instead. Ridiculous. When my family was at the poverty line, I never could've afforded this place. You're better off shopping the clearance rack at a retail store and getting a brand new item instead

The most expensive thrift store I've ever been to. These are donated items. Whoever prices this stuff should keep that in mind. Absolutely ridiculous

Most thrift stores I've been to-when you see something you like or could use, you can pretty much guarantee it will be priced at a level you wouldn't bat an eye at before you even know how much it costs. It should be, it was donated to them. This store is not like that, as it's easily 2-3x the price of most of the places I've visited, more on par with profit second hand store than a thrift shop. Yes, they do have more high end articles of clothing than most, so if that's your thing, you might like this location. Just be aware, they know exactly what they have and charge more for it. My issue is that the average or run of the mill stuff was still at least double as well. I only dealt with one employee, but he was polite and helpful. Store is not huge, but clean and well organized. I would likely go back when I am in the area, but won't be goin out of my way to visit based of my first impressions.

It's a very small store with a small size selection, I only managed to get myself a pair of Jean's and some sneakers here. I wouldn't say I'm big, I have a 31 inch waist but almost everything was too small for me. It is also fairly expensive as far as salvation army stores go.
