Very friendly and open church to ALL individuals. This is very important to me that all individuals are accepted within this church. Sermon messages are spot on every week as if the ministers are talking directly to me about what I’m going through in my life that exact moment. Every sermon starts out with God loves YOU and there is nothing you can do about it. The church helps many organizations and individuals with aid related items within our immediate community. I can’t say enough great things about ROFUM church. Please come and check it out as I am sure you will like it and the message you take away.

The church welcomed us and made us like we're family . Even if we are from overseas ( Indonesia ) . We are so thankful and blessed. The holy spirit moves here and it always good sermon. God bless The Church : Pastor Jeff and all Congregation.

This church is very Liberal, a reflection of the greater Royal Oak community. It is also a reflection of the debate within the greater American Methodist church over the recognition of same-sex marriage. Personally, I believe all families are loved by God. But the sermons are not a message personalized for us and tailored to our spiritual needs, they are simply a personal protest against Methodist leadership by the pastors and local leadership. I can only imagine similar things are playing out at Methodist churches in more conservative areas. This entails swipes at Trump on a regular basis. Regardless of whether he deserves the swipes, I don't like that the message is more like a hot take on whatever cable news is talking about. Now if you are really interested in joining a political church, this place may be right for you. I am Christian but one of the the wisest pieces of advice I've been given on this matter came from a Jewish Rabbi: "If God agrees with all of your political beliefs, you are not worshiping God. You are worshiping yourself." My only hope is that once the debate over same-sex marriage in the church is resolved, we can go back to praising God full-time.
