Do not go there! He had my car for six hours. They were supposed to wash and wax. Plus vacuum, and clean the windows for $153. It was obvious that they did not vacuum nor did they wash the windows .But I couldn’t prove they didn’t wax on my car. My car was brand new Buick 2022. I felt I had no options. They already had my money. One of the workers did hurry over and started vacuuming and wipe down the windows. That’s a very expensive vacuum job!!!!!

Not a great experience. My dog peed on the side of the driver’s seat, the center console and under the seat. I wasn’t able to clean the smell myself so I went to Motor City Auto Spa looking to get the smell removed. I described the specific problem and they said they could take care of it. When I arrived to pick up the car I was told they couldn’t get the smell out, “If it’s under the seat or in the foam there is nothing we can do.” They knew it was under the seat from the start and did not mention anything about the foam when I asked if it was something they could fix.Essentially I ended up paying $250 to not have a car for a day ?.Other than that issue the car was nicely cleaned. There was a dog nail puncture in the dashboard that they made bigger though.

Motor City Auto Spa has become my go-to spot for everything from minor touch-ups to full in/out major detailing. They do a phenomenal job detailing the interior and exterior of my cars. I will always be a loyal customer but remember to remove all your items from your car. I forgot about car accessory in the trunk and it got misplaced. They tried to find it, but had to offer a replacement.

This place is absolutely amazing. I took my jeep in for interior detailing. I dropped it off as soon as they opened and they called me at 1200 saying I could come after 1pm to pick up. Thankfully it was a Saturday so I had my wife take me there and pick me up. They were very reasonably priced and they got it back to me in a timely fashion. The car when I picked it up smelt brand new. Everything was so clean! There was tons of dog hair, dog puke, dry food and drinks spilt everywhere. It was all gone. I'm so impressed with them and I will definitely be going back and recommending this place to anyone I know!

Update in response to owners response: I acknowledge I agreed to the interior shine, as I was relying on the teams expertise to guide me in making my car look new again. In regards to the leather conditioner, is it standard operating procedure to leave it on so heavily that it is still wet to the touch and not fully absorbed in when you return the vehicle to the owner? Please, see my photos where it was still clearly drying the next day.I brought my 2021 GMC Canyon in to them to discuss what service was needed. I take good care of my vehicle and they advised that I only needed an interior detailing. I let them know I wanted my car to look like it did when I picked it up from the dealer.When I picked up my car, this was the first time I was informed that if I wanted to pay with any credit card, there was an additional 3% fee.Also, when I picked up my car, the interior still looked soaking wet and I assumed it just needed to finish drying.The next day, the interior of my car still looked soaking wet and I called them back. They had me bring my vehicle back in and 30 minutes later, it looked better, but still wet. They noted that the back seats and the passenger seat they cleaned up, but the drivers seat wasn't as bad. I pointed out that was likely because my body and clothing had finished cleaning and drying that seat.They informed me it looked so wet because of interior shine. I am still not in love with how shiny my previous matte finish interior looks, but will allow it to fade back to normal with time at this point.Looking back now, they only post pictures of exteriors and my assumption is they specialize in exteriors.While I am happy they were willing to work with me, to attempt to fix my dissatisfaction, I would not bring my vehicle back again for an interior detailing.Including pictures of how wet it looked the next morning, and what it looked like after they worked on it the 2nd time. I shouldn't have had to come back a 2nd time for it to look this way.

Brought my 2023 Lexus RX350H in for Xpel PPF and full Opti Coat Pro ceramic coating and could not have been happier with the results! My customer service representative was Julius Babbie who was extremely knowledgeable on the products, took his time explaining how the work would be performed and showed my wife and I some jobs they had in their shop and some employee vehicles who also had the same products I wanted on their own cars. Julius is top reason I went to Motor City as I felt that he had our best interest in the job I needed done.Services: Full body wash

Motor City got me in next day for tinting two front windows. They are using Xpel window film which is certainly high quality compared to some other films available on the market. Pricing was completely fair. Even offered a loaner vehicle to me, which I declined, but to offer is above and beyond.I’ve seen a lot of good window tint and a lot more bad ones having spent several years in the auto detailing industry.This tint looks great and appears to be a very clean install. I can’t say I see any issues. Work is warrantied too, so if it should peel or anything like that, I know they will fix it.All in all, 5 stars, and will be back in the future for tint.Thanks Motor City!Service: Vehicle window tinting

Updated from 2 to 5 stars: (11/19/2022) Ralph and the team addressed all of my concerns from the last service and the car looks and feels great now. Thanks guys!---I had high hopes after doing my research for a local detailer super close to home that i could rely on for regular service. So, I opted for the complete silver package ($369) as well as engine bay cleaning which is $40 extra. By the time I picked up the vehicle it was completely dark outside so i drove home and parked it in the garage in order to inspect it in the morning.The silver package may as well be called tin copper or aluminum package because my car had hard water drops dried on the side mirrors, leaves, dust, and debris still in many areas of the door and trunk jambs, dried wax/sealant left on edges of paint protection film, and water was still dripping from the tail lamps onto the rear bumper. I thought a shop like this would at least have a compressed air sprayer to blast out excess water before drying.Also it didn't seem like anyone touched the entire rear spoiler as well as the rear diffuser and exhaust tips. The spoiler still had old wax, tar, grime on it and the diffuser and exhaust still had a thick layer of dust/ debris on it. Im not sure I want to take off the license plate and see whats behind it. Based on what im seeing from previous reviews, leftover dust and grime seem to be a reoccurring problem..Lastly, I was hoping the $40 engine cleaning option would be a noticeable improvement but it just appeared that someone wiped the biggest surfaces with a glossy spray and called it a day. There was still significant grime and dirt on the most accessible and obvious areas. Clearly there's different package tiers, but if the Gold package adds extra polishing steps, fabric protection, and windshield treatment, it doesnt really address the initial quality control of the silver package. Overall, wife is disappointed and im left $409 lighter.Two stars for at least the friendly customer service and cleaner interior.

If you are looking to get your windows tinted, trust in them. This is the second vehicle that I have had them tint and it's always perfect. The guys in the shop are extremely friendly and helpful and will work with you.
