Cash withdrawal scam at Kroger. When you got through the checkout line with a card, you are asked if you want cash back.No mention of a service fee is on the screen, YET. You enter your PIN and get your card back andOnce you are about to finalize the transaction, suddenly a message about a fee for the cash back appears asking you if you accept it.If you hit "no" the entire transaction is cancelled, not just the cashback and you have to run your card through all over again. You know damn well Kroger could inform you in advance of a charge to get cash, but they count on you being impatient and just going tbrough with it.Kroger is attempting to create a monopoly on retail groceries by buying up all competitors and merging. If they accomplish this they will bleed us dry with sky high prices.

Kroger is not a great store to begin with, but this one is the worst. Everything looks picked over and just a mess. Then their service is non-existent. The final straw came tonight. With only a handful of registers open, i have to wait in a 30+ line. I finally get to the reqister, just after the guy ahead of me. Suddenly, the lady closes the lane and say. "This lane is closed. We will take you on 11". This seemed fine until we noticed that there is a 30-40 person line there. "Wait, miss...are you saying we have to wait in that line again? We just wait thru this already." She just looks atvus, say "yup!" And waddles off. No attempt to even help. Thie puckup service is a joke. Half of whats in the store is not available for pickup and what is is often out and subject to "substitutions." Do yourself a favor and just go to Hollywood Market at 12 & Campbell or on mainstreet, or Holiday market. Kroger get no biz from me any more.

belted self checkout line: Their "new" belted self checkout is horrible!! It continues to trip up and creates very long lines. Recently I was alive for an hour. But I didn't get out of lying because I thought I would get delayed even longer. Turns out if I had just gone to self check out I would have finished sooner. I really like this market, but I'm very disappointed my latest experience.

This is a poorly run store. The shelves are often bare and the lines are almost always ridiculously long. Items often scan for the wrong price, always higher than advertised, often they are the weekly specials. They are understaffed and the staff that I’ve encountered there are pretty nasty. With all the money they are taking in, you would think they could do better …

I cannot put into words how much I despise shopping at Kroger nowadays. Pictures speak for themselves. I’m about ready to start ordering my groceries off Amazon if this is how the world works now. Disappointing.

4pm on a Wednesday and they closed a self checkout. The other one is to the back of the store. One normal checkout open. So much for a quick stop after work. All my frozen will be melted before I get home. I’d rather pay more at Hollywood or Value Center than deal with this.

Completely and totally understaffed, all the time. An entirely unacceptable experience. If you choose to shop here, expect to wait at minimum 30min in the checkout line. Photo attached was taken at 5:30pm on a Monday. An entire bank of 6 self checkouts was closed entirely, and there were only 2 other cashiers on hand. It is worth the price premium to shop at literally any of Krogers competitors if this is the in-store experience.

Because it takes 30 minutes every time to wait in line for checkout, I have started just doing curbside pickup and shopping at their competitors.Because of this, they miss out on any impulse purchases I would have made while in store, or they miss out on my order altogether.I'm sure many other people are doing the same thing that I'm doing. Imagine how much $$$ they're losing out on. I'm sure that amount of money would MORE than cover the wages of like 10 more cashiers. It's too bad, because the store itself is nice.

Today, Oct 3 at around noon I brought bottles in to return, and as has been the case every other time, the machines in the bottle return room wouldn't accept a large number of them, with a message saying something to the effect of the store doesn't accept this product These are bottles I purchased from this exact store. I found a manager and identified examples of the items I attempted to return. The individual was all like "well, if they won't scan you can bring them up to customer service (WAIT IN ANOTHER LINE to find out if my bottles will "scan"?)and have them check if they scan." ..." if they scan"....??? Bro, the check out machine sure had no problem charging me the deposit. I asked the guy pretending to manage if there isn't someone whose responsibility it was to make sure all items the store is charging deposit on are accepted by the machines in the bottle return room? I mean it is a Michigan law that the store has to return the deposit charge when the customer brings the bottle / can back right?! The I CAN'T MAKE IT HAPPEN manager guy repeated the bit about taking the bottles in question to customer service and said "if they won't scan there's nothing we can do." As if there was no mechanism, no procedure, no way to get the machines to recognize store products. So the ones that the machines DO accept, how did that happen? That info must have been uploaded somehow? I'm sure the customer service counter will be thrilled to have irritated customers in their queue with nasty bottles. I personally don't think that manager could run a girl scout cookie table without events overwhelming him.

This Kroger is usually pretty well stocked. My only complaint is that there are 6 self checkout kiosks that are NEVER open. This creates ridiculously long queues. There shouldn’t be lines down and around the asiles just to check out

Avoid this store during the weekend! Very few checkout lanes open and the self checkout only has one lane available. Why can't Kroger employ more people??

This is normally a 5 star Kroger, HOWEVER, today they fell to 1. We were buying seafood at the counter. A guy comes out from behind the counter and starts windexing the outside of the display and then flicking the dirty windex with a squeegee. He them moves me out of the way to do the window in front of where I am buying fish and flicks it all over the fish I was about to buy. We took a pass on that nastiness. Since they empty the display every night, why wouldn't this be done after they close and there is no food in the display???

This is a horribly managed store :( Frequently out of stock on items, slow check out, terrible customer service counter with long wait times. Most of the employees have looks on their faces like they would rather be somewhere else. This store is super close to where I live and I still try to avoid shopping there. It is too bad as I was so excited when it opened.

This morning right at the fro t of the cooler is a half gallon almond milk clearly labeled as a customer return. Unbelievable how little anyone cares about even attempting to do a good job. Thankfully the cashiers at this store are really friendly and helpful.

This location is usually very clean and tidy. The one big complaint is that they have a handle that is missing on the refrigerator door where the yogurt is kept. It has been missing for several weeks. Also I have found a lot of expired yogurt still on the shelf.
