Workers and owner Ed seem to be ok people, but that holds no weight in the business world when the cars are junk and ticking timebombs. I’m not sure if they are having mechanics check these cars first or just selling them hoping the customer won’t notice but I advise you to bring a mechanic went to test drive a car for 9k body damage, engine noisy, muffler noisy, suspension squeaky and brakes grinding, I wouldn’t even buy it for $1000 so FYI PAY ATTENTION TO THE BAD REVIEWS bcuz u can always manipulate people for good reviews but u can’t pay people to make up bad reviews, so the ONE STARS REVIEWS ARE THE TRUTH PAY ATTENTION!

Great place to buy a car salesman was awesome/ friendly and very patient as we test drove many cars before deciding on a car for our 16 year old daughter! A month later car is running well and our baby girl loves it ! Also we got a great deal on the car . Thanks ZJ’s for a great buying experience ! We will definitely be returning for any future car purchases we make !

Bought a car from them a few weeks ago. They posted the ad on Craigslist as a private owner so I didn't know they're car flippers. After I drove it back home, a few days later. The car wouldn't start. The starter motor was broken along with an issue of the timing valve. Spent $1200 to get them fixed. And now there's a fuel pump issue.

My son and I purchased a car in January 2022 and it broke down within an hour. We had it towed back and are still waiting for the repairs to be completed on it. Also the car that we purchased was damaged at the repair shop by a tow truck. In the mean time they keep giving my son loaners that keep braking down. The owner (Ed Zygaj) refuses to return our money for the original car purchased. He keeps offering junk loaners. Through my many years of buying and selling vehicles, I've never worked with scammers like this. Just a heads up for anyone looking to buy a used car, stay away from these people.

Went to dealership on 3/20/21, dealt with Todd, we looked at a Honda Element, he informed us the catalytic converter had been stolen from the vehicle on the lot along with the radio, he would sell us the vehicle for $3500 "As is" we told him that we would need to research what the cost for that kind of repair. After calling numerous muffler shops and auto parts dealers the cost was going to be over $1000, and we had been told it is illegal for a dealership to sell a vehicle in Michigan without a catalytic converter, when this was discussed on 3/22/21 with Todd he said that he would get it all fixed and charge us $4000 for the vehicle. Todd said that he wanted a promise that we would purchase the vehicle, we told him we would as long as the converter was fixed. My husband texted with Todd on 3/23/21 with a couple questions and Todd's response was "You wouldn't be very fast in a gun fight...Honda is sold." Then sent another text "Slow draw your new nickname." It would have been nice to deal with someone who is professional and legitimate. It was a blessing in disguise, I WOULD NEVER want to give my money to a dealership or salesperson that treats protentional customers like this!! Steer clear of ZJ's Custom Auto on Groesbeck in Roseville.

It's gritty and in a "not so glamorous" area but the goodies that are packed inside this tiny lot are worth going over. These are not cars for the novice. You really should know a thing or two about maintenance or full on restoration to purchase from this friendly lot. Good website too.
