I’m disappointed that this place has changed so much. Ever since the old staff left, the new employees, including management, don’t seem to care or do their jobs properly.

Website said this location is open untill 11:00pm on Saturday.
I drove all the way there on Saturday July 13th.
I needed to be attended by a person because I had an oversized package that would not fit in the drop off box.
But after arriving and lugging the heavy box inside I only find out then that this location currently has temporary lobby hours so the lobby closes at 2:30 on Saturdays, not 11:00pm.
It would be nice if there was a way to know in advance that the hours have been temporarily changed, because they don't answer the phone and the website misinforms you with an incorrect time.
Why have a sign right at the lobby entrance stating that they're closed when it's quite obvious that they are. When you arrive to find that the door is locked, all of the lights are turned off for the day, and there are zero employees in the building working, you have pretty good odds of guessing correctly on a two answer multiple choice question...
A - OPEN
B - CLOSED
hmm? ?️?♂️
?? ?☺️
It was a complete waste of time, gas, and a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

They lost a package of mine, they never delivered it, then refused to pay for it when I filed a claim with them. Very low quality service.

This is the worst post office location. My packages are delayed, there seems to be a high turn over rate for delivery drivers. I don't receive my packages on time. I have had packages delivered to the wrong address, I have had the carrier enter an incorrect code on my package and returned it to sender when my address was complete. Then to top it off you can't call and speak with anyone concerning your delivery because the system is automated. I wish I had another location to send my mail because after so many errors I am beyond upset. You pay for shipping and your packages never make it to your address. This is beyond frustrating no one has money to just throw out the door for shipping fees. I wish this location would hire competent employees. I have to figure out another way to receive my packages because the Rochester location doesn't accommodate my needs.

I recently moved and needed a mailbox key from the USPS, and my experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
First, I was asked to fill out a form and told to come back in a week. When I returned the following week, I found the office closed despite arriving during their posted business hours. Instead, temporary business hours were posted on blank paper with a sharpie, which was unprofessional and inconvenient. This happened again on my next visit.
On my third attempt, I went early in the morning to ensure the office was open. I finally received my mailbox key, but when I asked if they held any mail for me, the clerk assured me that my mail should be in my mailbox. Upon returning home, I found none of my packages in the mailbox—just a key to an empty parcel box. This forced me to make yet another trip to the post office to collect my held mail.
This entire process was unnecessarily time-consuming and poorly managed. The lack of professionalism and proper communication is unacceptable. I expect better service from a government agency responsible for handling our mail.
Don’t ask me to give you an individual review with a QR code when your overall service at this office is trash!

Your hours online show open until 5pm- that’s incorrect and you should update that promptly!

If I could rate this place less than a 1, I would. I live less than 15 seconds from it and I gladly drive the 15-30 minutes to any other location to avoid this one. Every employee I've interacted with there seems so miserable and devoid of customer service skills.

Went today 6-21-2024 just to mail a package. The postal worker behind the counter decided to have a social hour with a customer that had nothing to do with mail! She talked to her for almost 10 minutes while 4 of us were standing in line. Even the lady behind me was getting upset. I didn't get the postal workers name but can give you a description of her. I will not go back to this post office again.

So disappointed and frustrated with mail service. My daughter turned 21 on 6/16 and renewed her driver's license 50 days prior. The state of Michigan apparently holds "21" renewals to ensure they arrive the day before or day of your birthday (God forbid you don't get it any sooner) so they waited until 6/12 to print it. Unfortunately it's 6/18 and she still doesn't have it because you can't trust the US Postal service to deliver anything in a timely manner. She leaves early tomorrow morning for a trip to Nashville that she's spent a ton of money on. The state of Tennessee will not accept paper IDs so her trip is ruined. We spoke to our mail carrier yesterday and she said they didn't get a mail delivery they were supposed to get. It's ridiculous.

Horrible place. I was waiting for important international package. I was at home when it says there was a delivery attempt on that day, nothing (like notice) was left on the door at all. I got to know this bc the package sender texted me that there was a package delivery attempt, apparently the sender’s country post office is doing their job.
Visited this USPS 3 times, the package was missing, i left my phone number, later, was told that the package was found, went there again the other day, they gave me a wrong package.
1. They are not doing their job, not following the protocol.
2. There is nothing like tracking system to follow up their task.
3. Staffs are not interested in keeping your package safe

This post office is one of the best. The employees work hard and long hours. Very respectful, well spoken an knowledgable. I would recommend this post office it’s clean, the kiosk is available, significant room to mail products The parking space is very spacious… Employees seems to greet with smiles and compliments with a great sense of humor. Enjoy your shipping experience , smiles and kindness is contagious :) I’ve been to many of offices and this one is still by far serving a variety of business customers etc, a large volume of mail with kindness…. Good attitude and patience works..
I know you are doing your best, but I can use more assistance to correct, or resolve a shipping issue that occurred. This would be my approach forward to receive sufficient service if a mishap took place. I have notice hard working customer service, and customer complaints. ??

I have had an ongoing problem with my mail being forwarded to a temporary address. Before I left for vacation, I noticed that the postal service made the address change permanent instead of TEMPORARY. I went to the post office in Rochester Mi, to fix it. I filled out the paperwork and was told it was fixed. When I got to Florida for vacation I discovered that it was still considered a permanent change of address. I called the Post Office to fix it. They said they could not unless I canceled it all together. I did not want to miss my mail, so I left it at that. The next day I discovered that all my credit cards changed the address on my account. I am now back in Michigan and visited the post office 4 times. I am still not getting answers.

This is the lowest amount of stars possible, the actual amount of stars is -10.The quality of workers has gone down drastically over the last few years. This time the one woman working there for our passport question was rude, purposely frustrating with our time, and just overall, a terrible person.
