“Any vet visit will hurt your pocket book, but i was shocked at how fair the prices were, and felt 0 pressure about any of it. They didnt judge as life can be complicated. They got my dog in the same day, and really seemed to know what they were talking about. More so then any other vet ive been to recently. They treated us, and our dog, incredibly well. For as detailed as they were, and with the tests i welcomed to be ran, it was a relatively quick visit. As quick as it could be with quality care. I hope my dogs health doesnt bring me back too much, but i most definitely will be a long term customer/client. Thank you guys for being what a vet should be! It means a lot to freaked out dog parents!!! (<3 Chimaira "Mira's" Mom)”

“Krause’s has always been the best vet. One of our labs got sick with kennel cough, they squeezed us in, got him in a quarantine room and had us in and out in less than 20 minutes. I wouldn’t take our dogs anywhere else”

“Although this office is very busy, I highly recommend. 2 years ago I had a very traumatic experience at another hospital with my baby. The other hospital, Black River Clinic, gave me two options: put your dog down now or pay 10k for surgery. I decided to leave the building and came here after it was recommended by two family members. That decision was one of the best I made.

My dog had cancer that the other hospital missed the first appointment, and a collapsed lung as well. She was in a lot of pain, but I could tell she had strength and will to live. I brought her here and they drained the fluid so her lung would no longer be collapsed. This helped her greatly. I remember them doing some other things for pain relief, but it is fuzzy in my memory. They charged me a fraction of what the other vet did. It seemed like they truly cared about my baby. After her appointment, she wagged her tail and had energy I hadn’t seen in awhile. She pulled through another month with me, and peacefully passed away in my arms one night after work. I’m so glad I came here instead of feeling trapped by the other options and that the doctors here gave me so much more compassion and understanding.”

“Our 6YO dogs rear legs were giving out . We took her to our vet and he gave her a shot and sent us home. She was good for 7 days and then was worse than before. We took her to see Doc Mena . He gave her a thorough exam , blood , stool, urine and physical. A few days later he had the answer to why her legs were so bad , Osteoarthritis. He began treatment and within 5 weeks she was doing much better . 8 weeks and she is moving very well . I would highly recommend Dr. Mena , he is truly empathetic to your pets cause.”

“Unfortunately the first service we needed from the Anchor Bay Vet was to put our sweet dog to rest. Everyone we came into contact with was amazingly helpful and so sympathetic. They made one of the worst days just a little bit better. Thank you. I highly recommend Anchor Bay Veterinary Center.”

“Dr Snyder has been my vet for many years. Back in the day, he was a fabulous equine vet, so caring and helpful. I was heartbroken when he retired from horse care. He continued as my vet for our dog. 8 months ago she had to be put down. Dr Snyder and his staff were so caring and so helpful after she was put to sleep. I can't say enough nice things about Snyder Veterinary clinic!”

“We have been coming to Chesterfield Animal Hospital for several year now. Everyone has always been compassionate and understanding. Like our fur babies were part of their families. Even with last minute calls and visits. Our german shorthaired pointer is comfortable with them and that means alot, (less stress) for your pet. Always been there for us as pet parents, explaining and taking time to listen, which alot of vets don't do. We are moving to New Mexico and are going to miss them all greatly and especially Dr. Donna. Thank you so very much for helping us through Hard times as well. Charlie, Remmie and Bradley when we had to let them go. And Gunner loves you all. Thank you all so much. Roberta Carmer”
