This was my first time going to a hair salon in quite some time.
I cannot tell you how happy I am that I chose Sheer Karma Hair Gallery!
Audrey, my hairdresser, was absolutely phenomenal and a delight to converse with.
She knew exactly what I wanted and helped me look amazing! I am so excited and feel confident about going to my MBA graduation ceremony tomorrow.
Sheer and Audrey, you have a new loyal customer in me!

If you have curly/textured hair please do not come here. I came 3 days before my prom asked for volume and my hair to be rounded a little bit but not a lot of length taken off. My hair dresser was Pam she did not blend any of the layers, my hair was uneven and it looked like I had 2 different hair cuts I was pissed with reason and went back the next day to get it “fixed” when me and my mother first walked in she had a horrible attitude and rolled her eyes when my mother said I was upset and crying about my hair. She cut my hair short about 2-3 inches off my hair which she originally told me 1 in a half inches she was taking off. My hair is uneven, one side is more thicker/has more hair on one side then the other and is not what I asked for. Don't come here I wouldn’t recommend it if it was my last resort, if I could give it zero stars I would!

My daughter in law was in Shear Karma a few weeks ago and spent 200.00. Thats a lot of money for a young person to not be satisfied with the outcome of her hair. She came in with virgin hair and showed several pics of the icy white highlights she wanted. The bleach was blotchy and taken off too soon therefore it was very brassy. Even a toner couldn't help. This was a newer stylist she had since her other one she went to there continuously canceled out on her at the last minute over and over several times. As a FELLOW HAIRDRESSER, I live an hour away but had to intervene and repair it. She was too upset to go back in so I talked to the owner who was very short and rude to me. (I took many photos of what was done to her hair as proof.)and texted them over. She paid in cash but the owner agreed to give half back in a check. However it was written with her "nickname" on it and hard to cash. I simply called back and asked for cash back since that's how she paid.!! Michelle was very rude to me and yelled "I don't have to do anything...I'm done!!" and hung up on me.!!! I was nothing put polite both times I talked to her, i even explained how I am also a stylist and things happen like this once in a while. She was shockingly rude. I would never have handled this the way she did. It's not worth getting a bad review!!!

Wonderful people always super nice and helpful. Prices are reasonable, and your always walking out of there with an amazing haircut (or whatever other service that you got).

Came in for a pixie TRIM and left with a shaved head. No joke. The hairdresser didn’t even charge me. I had to wear a wig for months.

Grace was absolutely phenomenal! I was so lucky that I was scheduled with her when I called. She explained everything step by step and took so much care when cutting my hair. I moved here recently and I am so thankful to now have a hairstylist I can trust and go to regularly!

Shear Karma condones blatant racism. Plain and simple. They condone blatant violent racism spoken by a man named Joshua Nikel and currently employ Joshua’s partner Pam Healy who has a mixed race son. This employee has been made aware of Nikels racist and violent statements and also condones them. Condoning violent racism by an individual who has access to a mixed race child is an abhorrent vile act. Shame on the owner of this business, shame on Pam and her partner Joshua and shame on any other employee justifying joshua or Pam’s actions and statements.

I came in with two very clear photographs of what I wanted, showed the stylist, AND asked her if she thought it was a good look for me and would work well with my hair. She said yes, asked to see the photos a second time and looked at them for a good amount of time. She gets started and everything I can feel she is doing makes sense considering the cut so I'm feeling good. Then she shows me the style and I am so mortified I can barely keep my composure. I manage to say, this is way to short and she has the nerve to say, "it looks just like the picture". NO, NO it doesn't! This looks horrible and will take months and months to grow out enough to even look ANYTHING like the pictures. Everyone I have showed said I shouldn't even have paid for it. All I wanted to do was leave without crying. This is the worse haircut I've EVER had.

Judy did an amazing job with my hair! I have very long and thick hair and she took her time to give me exactly what I'd hoped for. She stayed late for me, and even styled me afterwards. Could not be happier!
