Over the phone and via email my total was given as $82. I was just about to swipe and saw a total of $250. That is an outlandish difference. Wasn't even told of the price, just that I could swipe now, luckily I looked before I did. Wasted 45mins.

I had a good experience with Penske. Just a warning, get there early to pick up your truck, or it might not be available. Luckily, I happened to find this out when I called Penske ahead of time. I think Penske should be more clear about that information.

Reserved a moving van 1 week in advance. Arrive on the pick up date to find the van isn’t on the lot, it’s in Allen Park. I was offered a discount if I pick it up from Allen Park, completely ridiculous. Offered a larger moving truck which I do not want or need. Penske should have given me a heads up the van wasn’t available. A complete waste of my time. Worthless customer service, the guy didn’t seem too concerned about the situation.UPDATE: The "Response from the owner" request for me to call is ridiculous and a waste of time, the phone number provided is the number to call to make or cancel a reservation. I already wasted too much time with Penske on the day we moved my son from college and now they want me to wade through a phone menu that doesn't even offer "customer service" as an option? Nice job, Penske.

I didn’t receive the position after doing a far drive for a 1 hour walk threw meet and greet. Temp service said they gave no reason why I didn’t receive the position they must didn’t like what they seen when I came dressed to be warm. Temp service told me it would be cold didn’t give me any chance after waiting a whole week for the position.

Kind of rude to customers, and not at all considerate or in any way understanding/helpful to other people's situations or mishaps I could say... And there's not nearly enough parking if you ask me!! All the front spots are marked for employees, with very few left for customers to park! While I was there they were giving this man a hard time and were about to have his truck towed/impounded from up there after he rented a truck from them for a couple days and after returning their truck he tried to leave but his truck wouldn't start because the low temperatures and him not having much gas in his truck when he parked it there, his gas froze.... And they were being sooo rude. I felt bad the guy! They should try being nicer and idk maybe get a few more parking spaces for their customers??? Js. ?

We rent the truck from the HomeDepot Utah location, the truck is ok , we glad to make to Michigan safely, the only thing I wouldn’t recommend is they wrongly charged me $602,00 extra , so when we return the truck in a full tank in Plymouth Ann Arbor Michigan location, next day they pulled my money , I contacted them to verify they said the truck was return empty tank. we had to make many phone call and stop in to talk to them, they finally verify that was wrongly from there end and refund my money after 10 days, it was difficult situation for us.

So one of the mechanics said they couldn’t fuel because “of the holiday”. Today is Tuesday the 5th not Monday the 4th. This is suppose to be 24/7 facility so I thought????

Was told 1 hour before picking up that I was getting the truck I requested for a commercial move. When I showed up, they told me they do not rent to residential (This was a commercial move). Then they told me they dont have the truck I requested. "We should have called you yesterday". AGAIN, I told them. I just spoke with your representative here less than an hour ago and all was good. Had to cancel labor and plans for the weekend to move the commercial equipment. Very disappointed with this organization that I thought I could count on.

We normally have good results with Penske truck rentals. This time jot so good.... Truck had the following problems:1. Non-functional cruise control2. Our of balance or bent front tire. Steer wheel shook.3. Truck box leaked water onto our boxes and furniture.Penske did reduce cost significantly on return but it made for a stressful experience on the road.Make sure you arrive early and test drive vehicle in case you get a lemon.
