Dear LaFontaine Chevrolet Plymouth Management,
I am writing to express my profound disappointment and concern regarding the treatment my family and I received during our recent visit to your dealership on June 11, 2024. Our intention was to purchase or lease two vehicles, but the experience left us feeling discriminated against and disrespected.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by Nick Nawrocki, who was professional and courteous. However, the situation took a distressing turn when Nick's supervisor, Brandon Arthur, joined us. From the onset, Brandon's demeanor was unprofessional and confrontational. He presented a price on paper and bluntly stated that it was non-negotiable. His tone and body language suggested frustration and impatience.
The situation escalated when Brandon Arthur made an inappropriate and discriminatory comment, stating, "this probably takes place in your country, but not here." This remark was highly offensive and uncalled for, as it judged my family based on our appearance, specifically the turbans worn by my brother, father, uncle, and husband. When I confronted Brandon about the necessity of his comment, he neither apologized nor changed his behavior. Instead, he accused us of "barking orders" at him when we requested to speak with his supervisor.
Despite his reluctance, Brandon finally informed us that his supervisor was Keith Davey, but claimed he did not know his whereabouts. When I asked for Brandon's name, he responded with hostility, further contributing to our discomfort.
After waiting for 12 minutes, Bryan Vandemark approached us. Initially, we believed Bryan to be a supervisor, but later learned he was not. Nevertheless, Bryan was understanding, empathetic, and professional. He apologized for the behavior we endured and assisted us effectively, restoring some confidence in your dealership.
However, the fact that neither Keith Davey nor Vedran Karahusic addressed the situation is troubling. It suggests a lack of accountability and concern for customers' experiences.
My family and I felt subjected to racism and discrimination, which tarnished the reputation of your dealership. Brandon Arthur's behavior was unacceptable and does not reflect the values a reputable business should uphold. We urge you to address this matter seriously to ensure that no other customers must endure similar treatment in the future.
I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this issue.

They are always great! Went today for an oil change and recall stuff, Morgan helped us and she was AMAZING! She was super helpful and I had my daughter with me and she absolutely loved Morgan. She definitely went above and beyond for us! Thank you!

Worst website ever. Trying to research vehicles and it is pretty much impossible on their website. If I can't get basic information on their website why would I go to this dealership? Is this an indication of their customer service? Bubbles for "live chat"etc. continually fill your screen to the point where you have a hard time reading the information about the vehicle.

I wish there was a minus 5 stars for this dealership. My sales person was excellent, and in no way whatsoever does this review the reflect upon him. Unfortunately the finance department are rip offs. I was given a set price for my our lease and that was not what was the price on contract. All the finance person did was thrown the paperwork at my wife and did not explain anything. This is a tactic that finance uses when they are bumping the rate, and it's totally unethical, and actually very common. Unfortunately my wife did not relieve this was going on. It's to bad the crocks of LaFontaine bought this dealership. When it was Lou Laliche it was ethical, and would always get a straight up deal. Again, I encourage anyone that doesn't want to rip off not to go to this dealership. All these 5 star reviews are mess of naïve people that don't realize that they are being RIIPED OFF. GM needs to investigate what this dealership is doing to their customers, and it's again unethical.

I just purchased a new vehicle and Ben Budnik was more than helpful. The car that I wanted was still in transit and he provided me with frequent updates as well as answering my questions in a timely manner. After I got my new car home I realize that there were a few small marks on the ceiling (looked like from someone's hand) and I asked Ben about it. He responded very quickly even though the dealership was not open and was able to have me bring in the car the next day to have them cleaned up. Buying a new car is never a smooth process in my opinion but Ben did everything to make sure that I was confident with my purchase and getting the vehicle that I wanted. I would definitely recommend asking for Ben when going to look for your new vehicle!

The fellas, Matthew and Zach, helped me in a major jam when Ford had actually left me with my keys locked in the car after hours, after accepting payment, and me stranded 30 minutes from home. Phone dead, car in charger, these fellas got me set up and helped out. True gentleman - and needless to say I would go back there to switch up my car.

We purchased a new 2023 Tahoe from Lou LaRiche and since we drove it off the lot, there has been consistent and persistent electrical and audio issues. We have taken it back several times and each time they claim it is fixed but within the 2 mile drive home we notice it is not fixed. They do not have courtesy or demo cars for us to use so we are without our new SUV for days at a time (in the snow and ice) while they "diagnose and fix it" although it has not been fixed. It has been a very frustrating experience and we are left feeling that we either were sold a lemon or the service department is incompetent or dishonest.
