TRASH!!! I had to get a snack for my son’s baseball team and they were closed at 9:30 when they are supposed to open at 8am. This is not the first time. I had to spend 45$ at the gas station for a team of 12 when it should have cost 15$ max at the Dollar General buying in bulk. I am furious. Everyone that works there spends their time on their phone and chain smoking. GET NEW EMPLOYEES. I will be calling corporate.

Every time I have tried to shop there the past 2 weeks they are closed. Yesterday the hours were not listed and they had hung 2 bright signs in the door that said closed. Very frustrating.

They are almost always closed when they should be open. And it seems they over work the only 3 employees I ever see(they are great btw). Likely going to go out of business if they keep running like this. Also of all the DG around its one of the dirtiest and not updated. It's been months and they still can't be bothered to fix the self-checkouts. If DG did better and had more benefits they might actually be able to hire more workers and keep up with the store. Also sucks cause this dollar general is the only convenient store in belmont to get odds and ends and now everyone has to drive to rockford meijer or plainfield for anything.

They hold their employees hostage after working everyone into the ground until they quit. Now the store can’t stay open and instead of fully staffing the store they keep the same 3 people on deaths door instead of giving them deserved breaks.

Sadly this is not one of the better dollar stores. The store is dirty and has lots of merchandise in boxes on the floor, the refrigerator section is often empty.

Is this damn store ever open? They just close when they want. Today on a Saturday at 12 they still are closed. There is a closing at 5pm sign that’s been up for 2 day.

The hours of operation that are posted have been anything but accurate. These random "sorry we are closed" notes on the door are extremely frustrating.

Total b.s.... u have everything on 6 ft of shelf say 70% off.. then you goto ring it up and it's not 70%.. now we're looking for little bitty red, brown, go fooouck u DOTS on the tags. Then store closes at 3pm. Management need to be fired 100%. Hire someone with ballllls that will stand up and say we need to pay more or we lose sales for 6 hours a days.. not good business.. you ready to sell out cheap.. I RUN IT AND MAKE A HELLLLL OF A PROFIT.. WOW.. BAD BUSINESSES NO WONDER MORE SHOP ON LINE VS BRICK AND MOTER STORES

I frequent here because it is the only thing close to us, except for Meijer, and when I just need something quick or cheap I stop in. For the most part they usually have what I need but it may take some digging. As with most DG's, the organization is less than optimal. They did renovate a year or so ago, but mostly it was adding self checkouts, which are nice.I find the staff to be mostly friendly and courteous, but there has been a time when I waited up front for someone to ring me up and I ended up leaving because I didn't want to wait any longer. I'll still come here when need be - it's not horrible but not the best either.
