“Today is July 2, 2023. I visited the Martin Marathon at about 4:00 pm, and was surprised when the polite clerk - who happened to be straightening up near the front - opened the door for me. He also called me "Ma'am," which was safe, appropriate and appreciated as I have completely white hair. There were few people in the store. I paid cash for my gas, then had to come back in for change. By that time, the clerk had a LONG line of customers, and I waited in the back. But the clerk motioned for me to come to the counter, he already had the change ready! I got my change and was out the door; the clerk didn't miss a beat, continuing on with the next customer in line. You've got a winner there, someone who is willing to go the extra mile. Do what you can to hang on to employees like that.”
“I always end up stopping by in the afternoon, under the new management things have been nice and well stocked. The night shift guy is always there with a smile and we usually end up chatting for a while. Glad to have this place up the road.”

“Speedway sells alcohol which is convenient the facility is decently clean they're always busy and staff is always polite and can you do a great job I'm waiting on everybody and get out of there in time. The driveway is decent but crowded drive around the building you have to watch there's some potholes on that saying you're terribly he just got a lot of traffic there another busy that can mean only one thing they're good people people like them in need of repair. So what's the potholes”

You can't help but be in a good mood after dealing with their great personalities.”

“One thing I love about the Meijer Gas Station is if you have a Meijer credit card, you can save 10 cents a gallon if you use your Meijer card on your gas purchase. Whenever we are in Plainwell/Allegan, we stop at the Meijer Gas Station to fill up because it's always the cheapest in town! Also, they typically have a nice clean bathroom. Problem -- there is only 1 bathroom for ALL so if you have a family who needs to use a restroom, you might want to drive up to the store and then get gas after! The gas station always have a nice variety of snacks and drinks, and they usually have good sales on beverages and snacks as well. If you want to exchange your propane tank, they do offer that service as well if your propane tank for grilling is low.”

“I like this place. That said:It's very sad that there is a bag of poop behind my vehicle in this tiny parking lot. I'm no small girl. I'm a grandma with bubble wrap sounding knees and I still take myself out of this truck to use the bathroom. This isnt even a large place. Poop in a grocery bag. That should be considered insanity behavior. You aren't driving a $200k toilet. Have some pride in yourself and your work. Mostly stop torturing others. I think people who play with body waste belong in a home someplace. That's so shameful to those that work here and truckers that work hard every day. They deserve better. Everyone deserves better than waddling through your mess. We should feel safe getting fresh air. And I do mean fresh without a poo taint. You aren't wiping. You don't self care. I definitely don't want to follow you through a shower. I have no clue what you are thinking but can you PLEASE STOP FILTHING WHERE I WORK AND SLEEP AND PLAY WITH MY DOG.Please see above next time you are thinking to yourself: why are they bring rude to me? Why can't I have free things? Questions and answers.”

“This place is always great with customer service, the pavement being redone makes a huge difference in appearance and smooth driving in and out of the pumps area. I appreciate their deals and willingness to help with anything asked. Competitive pricing - I’m either here or at Wesco. Especially love the discounted fuel and thanks for keeping the yellow jackets at bay this year whoever removed the nests near the few pumps with them.”

“Bri was the best thing ever. She talked us through pricing of some of the things that we were interested in and gave us great advice on water. My friend Casey was interested in some coconut water, they did not have any, but Bri knowing her inventory was able to give fantastic suggestions on what else might work instead of coconut water. I can not suggest this place enough with how well stocked everything was and how amazing Bri was.Ps: Casey is a guy.”
