“Amazing work by Wheel Works Detroit! Eduardo and his team did an incredible restoration of my 13 year old wheels that were peppered with curb rash and other wheel damage. The wheels look brand new now on both the outer and inner sides and even the wheel weights seem to be color-matched and neatly placed which is a nice attention to detail. “My car was making a weird noise and I went into the shop an hour before the shop closes without appointment. The guys were very nice and down to earth, willing to help even though I showed up last minute without any appointments. Thankfully, the issue was so minor that I was in and out in 10 minutes. They were very fair and they didn't even charge me for it. I appreciated that they were still willing to take a look at it and I was worry-free for rest of the weekend. “Firstly, I especially dislike shops have anger issue owners, second most dislike: fraud business, third: arrogant shops refuse old car customers (Belle Tire Dearborn store); fourth: charge you very petty, like charge materials and labor step by step for a single axle replacement job.I am very alert because previous bad experiences with different bad mechanic shops.However, this shop is the one I am very comfortable with. Because:1) this shop has enough dock can service my car immediately and get it same day;2) their mechanic diagnose mechanical issue that about to break and show you the issue and tell you need to replace soon. I like to replace the rusty parts before it cause my car failed on the road especially old car bottom are usually fully rusty. I experienced expense repair when a small part broke into a big part(transmission). It costed me thousands of dollars to replace the entire transmission because of the crack. That was due to the irresponsible mechanic didn’t use their dock inspect the car but only test drive found nothing and told me come back when problem showed up again when I already notice unusual performance of my car.3) their price is reasonable for what they deserve. They do teamwork focusing on one car at once and move on to the next ones so always easy to have a free dock. I feel it is not much saving to searching for bargain parts a couple hours trip then ask a friend help in their spare time in one person and pay a cheaper price to your friend or let the shop replace your parts without warranty. How much you need to spend to thank your friend help back your friends if you don’t have much skills to exchange? And you lose much more money in stock investment in a day than how much money you saved to fix one auto issue by 2 wks long. Why not just pay a reliable shop complete your repair within 2 hours even comes with warranty? I’d rather pay money $25 more if that’s buying parts pay mechanic repair method really save me, to make the shop survive and workers get job to do with stable income happily. In the tough time, it is especially important to support good businesses.4) the owner/manager Eddie is friendly and arrange his order tasks all the time with a stable pace.5) they have electrician every Saturday too.My kindly advice: repair old rusty cars actually is harder than newer cars. Because they have to use more power tools to remove the rusty parts. “I was shopping for 38x13.5x20 mud terrain tires for my 5th gen ram Rebel for about 2 weeks.
Looking online and multiple shop in my area for convenience because my time is important to me.
My main concern was the large diameter of the tire not fitting properly.
I stopped in on Thursday morning and talked to the young lad named Rio and expressed my concerns on the fitment issues I had.
I already knew what tires I wanted. I had 3 different ones in mind and already knew the ballpark range in prices from shopping around.
(He at the time did not know this)
When he told me my price on the different choices I had for the out the door price I said take my money.
He ordered my tires and had them the next morning.
Went in on Saturday morning at 9 am and was heading home 1.5 hrs later with the baddest looking Rebel around.
There was a little fitment issue due to the custom mud flaps I have.
There tire tech did his thing and got it resolved very quickly.
He also took extra care not to scratch the wheels and such.
It was a great experience as I take great pride on my truck.
I would defiantly recommend this US Wheel and Tire location on mound road just south of 18 mile.

“I brought my wheel here to be repaired. It was dented very badly by a pothole. After doing all they could, it was determined that the wheel could not be fully corrected. I was not charged for their work. The wheel is near perfect...it holds air, balanced well, and there is no noticeable vibration. I just wanted to say thanks for being super straight with me.”

I was actually looking for their Grand River/Lahser location, but Sam told me the other location would accommodate me.....and they did!
