If you are located in the SE Michigan, DO NOT ORDER WINDOWS. It took them 3 times to put in the correct order for the windows. They have cancelled twice. The first time after we received the email confirmation and text. I have taken 3 days off of work and still no windows installed. At this point just want my deposit back .

Regal surface and stone did this hack job to my kitchen . Thanks, Home Depot . The sink is not bonded to the countertop. the stove didn't fit and had to come back and cut it bigger. The countertop is not bonded correctly . I believe the is deliberately done to save them money , very poor craftsmanship.

Terrible service! I purchased 3 appliances a month ago, only to find out they were out of stock and nobody informed until I call the store. After speaking with the Store Manager about my situation, all he said was I can refund your money. Sad to see that more brick and mortar stores don't value their customers. What happen to customer service and trying to keep your customer. Not only I been a loyal customer for many years but also a card holder, and instead of making it right! He proceeds to refund and ignore my situation, I will definitely be canceling my credit card and stop shopping at home depot.

Another debacle at the Home Depot. Chesterfield Michigan Dawn and Erica patronized me as they made fun of my situation like it was a joke and went out of their way to give me hey our time Ihad to talk to the store manager. Dawn insisted on my order was one way I could try to explain her it's real simple she said I was yelling at her and hung up on me she made up the whole thing and acted like something was happening it wasn't happening. That's really something wrong with the Home Depot in ge neral I've had a difficulty and every process has been messed up screwed up done wrong fell through broke down no communication it's just sum it up as a nightmare I can't continue with the Home Depot

0 stars!! Do not purchase any major products here. Purchased refrigerator a month ago. It took two weeks for them to deliver. My husband was at the back of the refrigerator and they took off - they were suppose to install it! We plug it in and it doesn’t work? They were suppose to bring another one. We take day off work and after the max time ,when they were suppose to come , and said their truck broke down and couldn’t find another one. By this time I am at my limit with Home Depot. I take off of work and spend two hours there while they figure out who is going to take the refrigerator back GE or Home Depot. Finally GE agreed to take it back. The guy in appliances told him she does not another refrigerator she is cancelling the order and I don’t blame her. He refunded me the five year warranty and braided line. He said he couldn’t refund refrigerator until they pick up old one. Ok. So they were suppose to come two weeks later but ended up showing up a week earlier. They pick up refrigerator but guess what? They dropped off another one! I immediately call manager at home depot. He said we accepted it off of the truck!!! They would not even try to make it right. I told him I would take them to court and he said go ahead you won’t win. I get a hold of corporate she tells me they will pick it up 12 to 48 hours well we have not heard a word. I am so disgusted with the way they treated us. Oh and I have the credit card bill already. I do not and will not ever recommend buying any major thing from there. To be continued….. this is how they deliver their product when they are suppose to install

After 20 years of loyalty to this company I am sad to say it is over. I am a small business owner that spends a lot of money here exclusively. I was just denied a return for the first time due to a new policy. I normally make all of my own purchases on my credit card so there is an electronic receipt. I was stuck on a job site and had employees running to the store for parts so I do not have receipts this time. In short, I wanted my store credit of $405 to walk right back in and spend another $1500 dollars and apparently there is nothing anyone can do for me. Even after speaking with customer care I was informed that they actually do not care. Even after explaining that it is a poor business decision to lose a customer that spends 50k or more per year over a $400 store credit they still do not believe it is that important. I am disappointed in their decision but this isn't even the worst part. The worst part is that they have forced me to become a customer at Lowes. Good luck to all of you that consider yourselves loyalists of the Home Depot. I suggest you start working on a backup plan before they let you down.

Very disappointed with this store and their supplier Whirlpool. Our refrigerator died in September 11th so we went to the Chesterfield, MI store to purchase one. We looked at many models, many of which were out of stock and or back ordered, I get it... the world's supply chain is all fouled up, no problem. We chose a model that was "for sure" in stock at their warehouse, the salesperson even showed me where they had 10 in stock on his screen. He then explained they were so busy, the first available delivery date was October 1st. but "ASSURED" me they had it and we "WOULD" get it on the 1st, when I questioned if that would be a firm date. Fast forward to today, I get an automated call informing me I would not be getting my order, which is now OUT OF STOCK at the warehouse and our new delivery date is Nov 12th. I proceeded to call the number they gave me, talked to a nice lady (not her fault) who told me she couldn't do anything for me. I then called the store spoke to a nice guy (not his fault) and they cannot do anything either. l did learn one thing from the store person though, and this is what led me to write this review (never written one before and will most likely never write one again). I learned, their Policy is to bill on the day of order, not the date of receipt. So they get their money up front and I'm quite sure they pay Whirlpool when due, so the only one getting the short stick is me, now waiting 60 days (minimum, who knows if they can meet this new commitment) for my order THAT WAS IN STOCK!. What is the customer to do, if I cancel the order, then get to go to the bottom of the next stores list.

Do NOT get items installed from this store. I just moved into a new construction and purchased items from Home Depot regularly starting off. However, their installation team/contractors have been an absolute nightmare to work with. For instance, I bought a washer/dryer from Home Depot and paid for delivery/installation. Upon arriving, the delivery drivers (who are also the installers) attempted to walk through my house in shoes which were JUST dirtied from outside. When I asked them to wear foot protection or remove their shoes, they expressed they didn't have foot protection in their truck and would have to drop it off and return. I called Home Depot for an update and they had NO COMMUNICATION with the drivers. Not only that, they only give you 2 days to check for damages/defects, regardless of it was installed or not. How is one supposed to check for issues if it isn't even unboxed or installed? I also paid for a garage door installation which wouldn't close fully after the installer left. Home Depot made an empty promise to call me back and ultimately didn't even check up. I had to inspect it myself and found he didn't install the sensors correctly. Once again, DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE FOR INSTALLATIONS! They hold no accountability for any issues experienced through their contractors, have extremely poor communication, and will extend no offer to resolve issues experienced by customers.

Do NOT ever use Home Depot for flooring!!! Cut out the incompetent middle man and just go to someone who knows what they are doing. Flooring was scheduled to be installed today after a month in a half of waiting just to find out they can't install it because the original floor was never leveled by the guy who came out to measure. The guy who came to install said this happens all the time. It doesn't sound like they have any plans to fix this issue.

I really like the new service you can place an order on line and they bring it right out to my car and even load it for me! The employees are so helpful and very polite. I do enjoy the seasonal outdoor garden area - It's my favorite section to shop - so pretty with all the flowers and lots of things to look at!

I was embarrassed today as my family was spending $500 on the low end and a lady with short hair and john Lennon glasses shamed my 21 year old son for sitting on a john deere tractor before we bought it. She made a horrible effort in the store in front of my wife and I and our son and twin 19 year old daughters to say stop what your doing and be careful of others. First of all he is 21 and we run a landscaping business. She was apparently upset from another customer and to make things worse she continued to the follow him around the store. We will not be coming back as we felt targeted and spent alot if money. She needs to spend more time sweeping the mess she made rather than shame our son.

I'm kind of disappointed in Home Depot. I had to special order a screen door for the front of my house. For some reason the door is bigger than the typical screen doors a home owner can buy. Its like buying odd pant sizes, you know 35 waist and 29 length. I made the purchase from Home Depot, in their door department and was told two weeks. I was also told that a Home Depot employee would call when the order was at the store so I could pick up the door. After the third week of no phone calls I went in to find out what was going on and was eventually told the door had a arrived about five days after the order. The employees had no explanation as to why no phone call had been made.
