Our car broke down near c&t auto and they agreed to take a look at the vehicle for us. We were unsure what costs would be and with me not working we needed to figure out just how costly it was going to be before deciding whether to keep or junk it. After the weekend passed, we received a call from the wife saying it was an easy find and fix, that it was just a clasp that had needed replacing, and there would be no charge. We tried insisting on paying for something bc we felt like it was only fair. They insisted it was not a big deal and we could come pick it up. We get there, an hour away from home, and we were told it was over $300, and cash only!!!!!! The wife denied ever speaking to us and insisted we must've called elsewhere (we checked, it was only them we spoke with). The husband claimed she must've said there was no charge for the parts (parts included on the bill). We did not authorize a repair of this size. Then the owner says this to me:"I put a lot of labor into that vehicle and I saved you a lot of money on a radiator. Radiators cost over $400 and I found you one for around $360..."I said: "A radiator? I thought it was just a clasp so why would you need to find us a radiator?..."Then he holds up the part that needed replacing, a tiny bolt looking thing. He said: "This! This is what I needed to find and replace. "Still, the radiator comment made no sense...And the phone call...And the unexpected bill (which we would've had no problem paying if told this over the phone)I spoke with his wife on the phone. She kept saying she didn't tell anybody there would be no charge, and that she thought he had to replace a line or something too.(nowhere listen on the bill). More Inaccurate information. You don't even need to have common sense to know we were taken advantage of. To make it worse, it had broken down on my birthday. We feel robbed.

Very friendly and down home. I feel comfortable having my vehicle worked on there. I trust his judgement and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely go back again.

Friendly, down-to-earth folks. Family operated. Stopped in for them to look at my exhaust because it was rattling and they fixed it in 5 minutes and wouldn't take payment. I'll definitely be back if I need more serious work done.
