We have been here awhile and have put up with a number of issues here, but today was absolutely uncalled for.Yesterday, 9/11/20 around 2PM the Management put notices on half the residence doors saying that they will be working on the parking lot and all cars had to be moved by 6pm same day or else they will be towed away. Management also called and left a voicemail saying the same thing. I am assuming they called all resistance affected by this. This is only giving people 4 hour notice and people are at work, out of town, away for the weekend. What are they gonna do, come home to their car missing? That is not right at all and is illegal.Anyway this morning, 9/12/20 at 8:15AM, Ruehle's Towing showed up and started towing cars away. I saw a white guy with tattoos with a solid black Dodge Ram truck talk to the tow truck driver. I heard the tow driver ask him if he knew who these cars he was towing belonged to. The tattoo guy said no, however he did tell the tow driver that the Management did not even give the residence notice until 2PM yesterday, only 16 hours ago and that people are not home and gone for the weekend. The tow driver said are you serious and laughed, and the tattoo guy said yes and to be careful towing cars away because Management did not give proper notice, not even a 24 hour notice and people are gone out of town for the weekend and they are gonna have a lot of upset people on their hands with possible lawsuits. The Tow guy ended up taking a broken down red Jeep, but the then he parked on the side of the building for awhile. I am guessing he was calling his boss or even the awful management of this apartment building here to get the facts. He ended up just moving the Jeep to a different area in the parking lot because I am sure his boss told him not to take any cars off the lot. Good thing that one guy warned him or people would have lost their cars today.I am sure Management knew of the working of the parking lot well before 2pm yesterday and becasue of this, the towing people's cars at a moments notice is highly illegal. Besides 1 red broken down Jeep that maybe should of been towed anyway for being hazardous, nobody else should of been towed OR EVEN THREATENED to tow away. Nobody was parked in a fire lane. Nobody was parked in a tow away zone. Nobody was parked in a handicap space. Nobody was obstructing another vehicle or dumpster or an entryway or exit.It almost seams like the management here forgot that the parking lot was going to be worked on and then they scrambled to clear the lot not even 16 hours after they finally gave notice to residence. Shame on you Holiday Garden. They never did any work on the parking lot, I am guessing after the guy in the blacked out Dodge Ram warned the tow driver about management not giving proper notice, the tow driver must have told management here that they gave improper notice. The following week after this Management put up flyers everywhere and gave people almost a week notice. No cars were towed. If it wasn’t for that guy in the blacked out Ram, it would have been much different. Thank you to him.
