Sam's as a store is good. This Sam's location isn't. One star for experience. Not staffed adequately to handle the traffic. I understand this is a problem in general for retail stores, but limit your customers, reduce hours, anything to make the experience better. Lines for checkout, returns, etc. are terrible. Inventory isn't stocked, organized or replenished. They sell some brand names, but most of the products are private labeled under Member's Mark. It's hit or miss with what you find here. Two stars for pricing and their Scan & Go program allowing customers to bypass the insane lines.

Where do we file handicapped parking violations? This person cut me off as I attempted to park (I'm actually an Amputee). No tag. No placard. Nothing. Sat in her car shouting at someone until another able bodied person came out of Sam's club and got into the car. This is at Sam's Club. Handicapped spaces were routinely occupied but able bodied people AND the mobile shopping carts occupied by obese people and/or lazy, unruly children. This store is like WalMart on steroids and in serious need of competent management. I thought the Americans with Disabilities Act was supposed to prevent this!!! I have half a mind to cancel my membership and demand a refund

I want to acknowledge the superior customer service of the two following food court employees Theresa and Gloria. Both these ladies are very pleasant and always willing to help with a friendly smile regardless being overwhelmed with serving customers, preparing the pizza, hot dogs, ice cream, etc. Theresa and Gloria need to be recognized and Sam's Club of Madison Heights MI need to be thankful for these two outstanding ladies.

Terrible terrible terrible tire service. Bought new tires, they started working on my vehicle 45 minutes after start time, No other vehicles were there, of course the new kid could not use a 4 point lift, and breaks my rocker panel. Using a 4 pointe lift is just behind the amount of skill it takes to put air in tires. Buy the way still 8pounds under. Sams paid for the rocker panel but felt my time of getting quotes for their employees blunder was only worth a 20$ gas card (gas station is closed) so overall a crap store for purchasing tires.

I've had my Sam's Club membership for less than 3months, and I won't be renewing it next year. I'll be going back to Costco, and if I do go back to Sam's Club it won't be this location. Horrible customer service, items aren't available. I wished I read the reviews before paying for a membership. It's a wonder this location is still open.

I am at the line for more than half hour .. 2 cashiers are open and self check out has 5 open and 2 not functioning!! No management care or know how to take care of the problem. Some employees are standing doing nothing but chat with each other No body seem to care about the frustrating people standing in the line or the customers time. Defiantly do NOT recommend this location because they have the worst management ever!

Like 3.5/5 so I'll round up to 4. Not as nice as the Novi location but the gas prices are great. I recently signed up for Sam's with the $45/45 promotion: I paid $45 for my membership and got $45 off in-store so it was basically free! Great deal. I tried to get my physical membership card at the Novi location last week and they were out of cards, so I dropped by here today in the hopes of getting one... alas, they too were out of cards. The membership services employee told me to check back next week. Meanwhile, they printed my membership # off for me on a slip of paper and I also have the app to use. I have used it 2x for gas now, for the Scan & Go, and it's worked out nicely. Speaking of which: last week I got gas at 7pm on a Friday (do NOT recommend, haha - I only needed 1/4 tank and it took 30 mins...) but today (also a Fri.) I went around 430pm and it was an easy 5-minute wait. After, I went into the store, and ended up getting their stroopwafel ice cream sandwiches (so good; I've purchased before) and a $7 T-shirt... I bought one in blue last week so I picked up the same shirt but in light purple today. I'm willing to bet this location gets crazy busy on weekends but I've heard Costco MH does too. It was pretty busy today and it was only like 430pm. I also think this is maybe an older location because the Novi location is set up differently, but don't quote me on that. Next time I'll try Scan & Go in-store too, with some items you get discounts!

I have to say that I am very disappointed that I didn't sign up for Sam's club years ago! I have been told about all kinds of offers to Join, but I dropped the ball. I got a coupon from sams club in the value pack that gave me credit for the membership. So I am like yeah, I am down. I feel like the discount on gas will pay for itself. Not to mention I like buying in bulk so this will be very convenient. I have to say that I learned today that you could get your stuff and then check it out on your phone. That is a game-changer. This is pretty sick. I will be there all the time!

If I could give zero stars I would. I unfortunately lost my keys while shopping. Shortly before closing (completely my fault). I ran back to and caught the manager before she locked the entrance doors and explained that I lost my keys. She didn't say a word and barely stepped aside so I could walk past her to search. I hate to hold up hard working employees but the store was still full of customers and employees stocking shelves. I stopped by guest services they were kind, but no keys were turned in. I began to retrace my steps. I was stopped by several employees who were working and explained to them all that I was just looking for lost keys. Not one person offered to help me search. I asked the fourth employee who stopped me if I could tell my younger sister who was waiting outside to search our cart again and let her know I hadn't found them in the store yet. Not possible. All employees at the door tell me if I walk out I can come back in to find my keys. Store is still full of customers. They say I can find a manager but they can't let me in if I walk out to check my cart again and let my sister who is waiting outside without a phone know I haven't found anything. I ask them to call a manager. Same manager who was at the door about to lock up says the same thing. She explains they are trying to close up and if I walk out I can't come back in. Again the store is still full of customers. At this point time I could spend searching is being wasted. I give up and walk away to begin searching again. The store is still full of customers who are now in line. Eventually another manager begins yelling from a distance at me that the store is closed accompanied by the manager who reiterated that if I walked out I could not come back in. I tell him the same thing he asks me to discuss it in a normal tone at which point I explained that if he's yelling at me from a distance I have to speak loudly as well to be heard. Once he walks up to me he begins saying they are trying to close. I point out the employees stocking shelves and customers in line and of course that I need my keys to go home. He then states he can't let me walk. I ask if I can walk with him to search. The answer is still no. I bring up that no one has even offered to help and suddenly the manger who had told me if I leave I can't come back in claims she offered to help me. A complete lie. Now he claims he could lose his job if he allows me to search for my keys. They demand that I go back to the front of the store and stop searching he says he'll search which is near impossible without me there to retrace my steps with him. Again customers are still in the store not yet checked out while this is happening. I am forced to stay by the exit and not allowed to search for my keys. After about 15 minutes unsurprisingly the manager walks to the front and kicks me out almost immediately after the last customer is finished shopping. Saying he couldn't find the keys. Worst customer service experience I've ever had. But beyond that just a terrible interaction with another human being who had no decency. When I left there were still several employees working that were obviously stocking and would be in the store for a while. There was no empathy, no genuine assistance and no kindness. At the end of the situation the manager again began try to make me feel as if I was putting his job at risk if he allowed me to walk with him and search for my keys so I could get in my car and go home after I spent hundreds of dollars in a store that I pay annually to shop in. Extremely disappointing.

I've been going to this Sam's Club for over 8 years now and have watched it go down hill big time. I was there today picking up a prescription. BTW the Pharmacy is great. I stopped in the cafe to get a slice of pizza and a pop. Only one guy was working the cafe and it was busy. There was crap all over the floor, it was slippery and the garbage was overflowing! I walked up to a girl working the front end and asked if someone could go and clean it up and she said to me oh when he catches up he can get it. Are you kidding me?!! There were 5 girls standing around talking and laughing with a male employee. One of them couldn't go and help that guy in the cafe?!!! Also the other morning only one girl was working the exit door checking peoples receipts. She had a long line and people were just walking out. She was sooo upset. I don't know who is managing this store but they need to either do something about this or be fired! Everyone should worked together and help where it's needed.

Prime steaks turn brown days prior to the freeze by date. Wasted $26 and change on spoiled meat. Live further away and was not worth the drive back
