Extremely disappointing customer service. Not worth the money to sign up for a membership when there is much better warehouse club alternatives. This location has the nastiest workers of all that I have been to.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Good prices of food and other housewares. It is very similar to a Sam's Club or Costco, but I think it seems less chaotic inside. This big attractiion is the exceptionally low gas prices. The lines seem long, but move quickly and there are plenty of pumps. Plus they have long hoses so no worries about pulling up on the wrong side of the pump. They will reach.I have a long drive to work every day and this has really helped with my gas expenses.... plus their rotisserie chicken rivals Costco's.

Terrible. Recently they had a promotion for a free turkey with $150 purchase. The cutoff date was November 9th. 11/3-11/4 we made $160 purchase. They state we are not eligible due to the $150 has to be a same day purchase and our gift card purchases did not qualify. We never purchased gift cards and the same day purchase disclaimer must have been in very small print because it was not very evident. We are walking away and staying with Costco who treats their membership with excellent service.

McKaren wouldn't let me leave without proving I paid for my water. "They count everything." Not the cashier who sold me my water like it was no big deal, because they are a quarter. Now there's a extra piece of trash proving I use plastic water bottles.

I'm no stranger to warehouse club shopping. My parents belonged to Price Club (now Costco) and I've been a member since childhood. BJ's Wholesale Club offers an okay experience without features at Costco I've come to deeply appreciate.I give this place one star due to horrible customer service. On the last two visits, I used my digital membership card with the cashier. BJ's app allows a digital card. The cashier told me off for not using a plastic card and said that the digital card wasn't real. It has their logo and membership number. I logged into my online account at BJ's site to show her my member number, account expiration date, and other details on the card. She continued to vociferously insist this wasn't real and people try to fraudulently use fake cards, photos, and other stuff to get past her. I again asked her to scan my card. She refused. It took a good 5 minutes -- while she held up a line of people at dinner time -- for her to finally try scanning and guess what, went through in 30 seconds. Look, I'm not here to cheat anyone and I, like many consumers, use digital loyalty cards like Target Wallet or MPerks. Customer service told me I could use the app in store, and I did, only for the cashier to bag me out.I come here to get two or three staples cheaper than I can at Meijer, and Costco or Sam's don't carry. I won't likely renew my membership next year for the sheer hassle that the cashiers constantly give me.BJ's feels like a knockoff Costco or Sam's Club. They have an optical department and cafe, but with stripped down options. Few cashiers occupy the deli, bakery or cafe, though they always seem to be doing their best. The clothing section is horribly disorganized and thrown together. Garments don't get put out on enough pallets, but stuck on long shelves where they quickly get messed up. I got overwhelmed trying to thumb through the racks of mismatched shirts and pants.Excellent location and spacious parking make BJ's easy to get in and out of. The busiest spot, the gas bar, stays open fairly late and offers competitive pricing. It's rarely too busy and therefore you can fill up and get through in a good amount of time.

Don’t get anything from the deli, one it takes forever every time I’ve gone due to one person running the counter. This last time I bought subs said I need the tomatoes and lettuce on the side we have someone allergic, wasn’t put on the form so it was on the sub. The girl was sweet and apologized for the person who took the order. The manager however seemed to careless and took over 10 minutes to come and listen to the issue and then there way was a 20% discount on one of my three subs. We won’t be renewing

Ok I have been a BJ's Wholesale Club member for about five minutes and already I want a refund of membership. I go to customer service to get my card. I gave the girl my driver's license which has my FULL LEGAL NAME on it. She asked if she could change it to my first name instead of middle. I said no. She proceeded to dress me down about how if I lose my card, I'll not get another because they don't look up middle names!!! WHAT THE FU@K She even called another employee over so she could discuss how wrong I was with him. I'm definitely conferencing with a manager before I leave!!! #firstimpressions***UPDATE***It's been 27 days and I've heard NOTHING from BJs Management! This tells me they couldn't care less that one of their employees working CUSTOMER SERVICE offered and insulted a NEW MEMBER regarding HIS LEGAL NAME BEING USED ON HIS MEMBERSHIP CARD!!!NOW while I'll continue to use the membership until it expires, I'll never purchase another and I'll be sure to tell everyone I know about this. I'm also filing a BBB complaint, and I'm sure there's a discrimination complaint possible as well. You do not argue with people about their name even when yours is "Karen" You're lucky they don't offer negative numbers or at least a ZERO

The store itself is clean and has a decent, though limited selection. And the gas station is amazing and completely beats Sam's or Costco any day, especially if you are buying larger quanities of gas for a commercial business. However the deli has really been dropping the ball lately. The last three times I've ordered ahead in the app I've gotten the notification that my order was ready only to show up and find it wasn't ready or ever made. Which results in me having to wait in line instead of skipping the lime using the app like intended. I also have had issue with inconsistencies in some meats. One week it will be prefect and the next it will be dry and chewy likely due to not being stored well.

If you are in need of glasses do NOT come here. Nobody is ever in optical. They choose their own hours apparently and only go in when they feel like it. I've been trying for 2 months to get glasses. 1 time someone was there but could only order glasses she wasn't able to do exams. Was told the optometrist wouldn't be in til mid October. Heres a tip for the manager: hire someone that will actually show up and work. The deal they are offering is only in club so of course they wont have anybody to actually work. Smh. Absolutely ridiculous. Bjs on hall road was the same way, nobody to do eye exams. Yet another reason to stop renewing my membership here.

Positive: Less crowded than Costco.Negatives: food court usually closed. Fuel court poorly maintained(washer fluid usually empty and never any wipes stocked)

I've been a member here since they open and they're free. Tire air machine has been broken as long as I've been there. I went and got a Costco membership. It's a simple biggest BJ

Yesterday my family and I decided to come shop at this location it was very unpleasant because of the customer service in particular. A employee named Brandon was very highly disrespectful and unkind showed no regard to the standards of which the store advertised as a whole to treat customers. My family and I went to pay for our items but our form of payment didn't work at the cash register so we we're asked to pay at customer checkout out with a receipt. I approached the cash register to pay My youngest son decided to bring the buggy over to my location counter area but Brandon a worker made a remark that he couldn't and we asked why his response was you all are going back out that way anyway. Who says that to a paying customer and someone that never comes to this location much. Also several people brought their buggy's over there why couldn't we? I hope you all address this complaint some workers my need to be trained on customer service etiquette.

Easy in and out. Has everything I need and a deli counter. Our membership pays for itself in diesel gas discounts. Nice friendly staff too.

The hours are great and you don't have to wait in line to pump your gas. The only downfall was that everything I went for they did not sell but overall it was a good experience.
