“Picked up 1/4 of a cow they butchered, was all vacuum sealed and frozen as expected, the staff was helpful and had my order out the door to me pretty fast.
Everything looked clean and you could hardly tell it was a butcher shop.”
“Great little hidden spot! Workers are so nice and welcoming. First come first serve bar incase you don’t wanna wait to get a table, the food is cooked right in front of you, the french toast is amazing. They make the bread themselves it’s truly great, they have a butchery inside where you can buy the food you just ate and cook it at home, I reccomend the holiday bacon!!! The gas station next door is great to, it’s not like any other big city chain gas station, they sell their own milk products, have their own prices, and have souvenirs! And they still sell products that normal gas stations would have. It’s everything you could want. It’s a refreshing change from what you’d normally see in urban living.”

I will say that you’ll be paying a premium to shop here. Whenever I price compare, they’re ALWAYS the most expensive. I recently did a comparison on brisket. It was $9.99/lb for USDA Choice, vs $5.99/lb for the same grade, at another shop 15 minutes away. For a full brisket, that’s a $60 premium.”
“Gas is usually 10 cents more expensive than other ones in the area, but the coffee they serve is OUTSTANDING and only $1!! They keep it in thermal carafes so it never gets a burned flavor. Also they sell Hilhof dairy products so treat yourself to a Pint of whole milk! Yummm.”
“Been coming here since before I was tall enough to peek over the counter with my grandparents, the Moykkynens. Gary would always give me a beef stick, and was one of the friendliest and kindest human you could meet. I still visit sometimes now with my husband, and Gary's son Aaron is just as great. Everyone working here is great, and the quality of meat here does not disappoint. You MUST try his beef jerky whether beef, chicken, or turkey!”
