“Hunt's Ace Hardware is our new go-to, and Mike (in the paint department) is our new go-to guy! Although the store is further than the one down the road from our house, Mike's knowledge and experience makes the drive worth it! From paint selection to tools to tips and tricks, we'll look to him for answers!Our local store has not been able to mix paint for weeks! We had to find another Ace. The first one we went to didn't have enough inventory of a particular item, so we tried Hunt's. Not only did they have our item in stock, but Mike helped us tremendously with our project. BONUS! I appreciate the way he patiently guided us without complicating the decision. Hunt's will be our store of choice in the future! What a great experience! Hats off to Mike!”

“I love this store. it has items that you can't find at HD or Lowes. they have diverters, grid drains, tubs, toilets, reducers, parts, faucets and whatever else you need. they also have tools and snakes to purchase as well. best if all, they accept credit cards!”

“Was greeted nicely when I walked in and walked towards the hardware department for shelf pegs. Scott asked if I needed help and took me right to where they were and helped me select what I needed. Went to Home Depot before coming here to Great Lakes Ace and saw employees with their surgical gloves and face diapers on standing around, not one asked if I needed help and I walked up and down several aisles looking for what I needed, but who did try and help me? A fellow customer. Pathetic. Will definitely be shopping at Great Lakes Ace Hardware much, much more.”

They pretty much carry everything you name it, nuts, bolts, lawn mowers, potting soil and grain shovels! It is like a farmers type of hardware store for somebody that is looking for something different! Plenty of parking! I would give them a try and I definitely recommend them to friends!”

“Menards is setup for a DIYers to find what they need in the quantity and size format, such as, shelving material, trim molding, and all types of wood panels. The store doesn't feel overwhelming like other home improvement stores. I do wish they would switch to submitting the rebate forms online , but you know that would mean more patrons would actually get rebates.”
