So disappointed in their service. They are the glass supplier for AAA. Wish they were better at that job.Apparently Safelight just bought all the small and independent glass dealers in Lansing and are having a hard time getting started.

While trying to replace my windshield, the installer made several cuts into my vehicle, almost cutting out the vin plate on my 2018 minivan , had to goto body shop for 5 days for repair and less then a year later the window leaks , we are in the middle of finding out who is gonna replace all the water damaged items in my vehicle like head liner carpet and window switch, safe lite is tring to say its the body shops fault ??. Will up date with complete

The sign for Safelite AutoGlass has been knocked down. Take a look at my pictures before you go so you can easily find it. Safelite is located in the same strip mall as Paradise Motors. They did a fantastic job and were done in less than one hour!

I scheduled my appointment with them to get my windshield replaced no call no show the first time. Rescheduled a second time got a six hour time frame. Nobody showed up. Upon calling the technician to figure out when I should expect him he stated that I was supposed to have received a call of cancellation prior to five o’clock. I have wasted two days of my time off of work where I could have been doing something with my family. This company has done a great job at losing my business I will give my money to a different business that will hold up to their word.

They sucked!! I took my car down the night b4 its 8 a.m. appt talked to the tech and receptionist and apparently put me down as a no show when they had my car fob and knew it was in front of their door...i went to pick it up that evening and it was untouched!! Talk about furious!! Incompetant people at their finest!! I live a 2hr away and wasted 2 trips down there ..NEVER AGAIN AND WOULD NO RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS BUSINESS ON SOUTH PENN LANSING MI....EVER

Terrible customer service. Cancelled my appointment twice after giving me a 5-hour window for a technician to come out. First instance lied about having the windshield in, second instance they broke the replacement windshield before coming out-notified me by text 10 minutes before closing that they re-schedules my appointment a week later. Cancelled appointment and will never use this shop or Safelite in the future.

Great service, I was able to leave in time to make it to work and make a dinner stop on the way. Very respectful crew. I felt very comfortable while waiting for my car. I got new wiper blades and my windshield looks like nothing ever happened.

The incompetence of these people is staggering. The last two times I've used them, the communication has been poor and the people at the desk seemed confused and uninformed about everything. Now, last week I had a mobile windshield replacement scheduled. They never showed up and never called. Rescheduled it for today and now after confirming the appointment last night, they call and say they don't have the parts and need to reschedule again. Nope. Going to have to call the insurance company and demand they send me to a glass shop that is competent and respects its customers' time.

I won't even talk about the horrible communication, wrong windshield delivered (twice!), and lack of concern for the customer. What I WILL say is they did a TERRIBLE job of the installation on my van windshield. After bringing it to a local company that knew what they were doing, I found that it was missing over 12 inches of silicone on one side and the windshield was simply just "set" on the frame without pushing it down (hence the gaps at each top corner)(see photos). This created a non-stop squeaking from the rubber molding and loud wind noise that wasn't there before.This was such a terrible job that the new company said had I been in an accident or had the air-bag open it could have had devastating results to the point that this vehicle should not have even been on the road!The tech from Safelite was nice enough throughout the time(s) he was here, it's just that he was either improperly trained or just in over his head. Thinking this was the case after the first time he was out, I asked the office to maybe send me someone with a lot of experience that may know just a little more. Nope! Same kid!I urge you to take my review seriously and call around and talk to other companies in the Lansing area. There are not many local ones to choose from because Safelite is buying them all up, but there are a couple - CALL THEM! I wish I had the first time.

Appointment 1, Drop vehicle off in the morning, get a call an hour later, the do not have the replacement windshield. It was not delivered from the warehouse.Appointment 2, drop vehicle off the night before, will be done 5PM. Around 2:30 I call to get a status (You cannot call the actual shop, the listed number is for a regional manager), work not started. Just before 4 I call for an update, work not started but will be done around 6:30 (Not happy but we can pick it up later in the day). 4:40, receive call from store manager, they will not be be able to replace my windshield today, would I like to reschedule? (NO!). 4:55 As my wife and I are driving to location to pick up vehicle, call from technician, they have not started the vehicle but he offered to stay late to finish the job. 5:05 picked up the vehicle and hopefully I never have to deal with Safelite again.The technician who would have done the actual work if management had not overloaded his schedule is the only one I feel was able to communicate what was going on.

If you are looking for a sign to use safelite or not this is it. Do NOT use safelite. As this being my first impression of Safelite I will never recommend them to anyone. Back in May, a rock cracked my windshield, I made an appointment to have Safelite come to my house and replace my window, that is when I met Evan, he was super nice, respectful and kept me up to date. Evan was even nice enough to tell me the wrong windshield was delivered (not the OEM one that I requested) and asked me if I wanted to reschedule, because I have a $45,000 car I requested a reschedule. No biggby. That is when I met Avery. Avery was nice and kept me up to date, after the job was done I went outside to look over the job and noticed two huge gouges on my car. I was not happy that Avery damaged my car WITHOUT TELLING ME. I went up to safelite to report my damages to Diana (the manger) she was respectful, apologized and said she was newer, took photos and would discuss it with her manger and get back to me. No biggie. 2 weeks went by and I haven’t heard from Diana, I called her and she was either in a meeting, gone or out to lunch, they took my number and said she’d call me back. This never happened. I eventually got ahold of her and she said I needed to go to a couple body shops I liked to get quotes and send them to her. Alright, getting the ball rolling. I did this the day of and sent her the quotes that day. Again, 2 weeks go by and she said she never received my emails, tried again. Again couldn’t get ahold of her or call me back, finally got ahold of her it’s now August and my car hasn’t been fixed. She told me to make an appointment and she’d send the check to my selected body shop. Fast forward a couple weeks August 17, and my car is done at the shop but Safelite hasn’t paid yet so I couldn’t pick up my car. Called Safelite and Diana is on VACATION and the woman that picked up had no idea what I was talking about because she thought this was taken care of months ago. Lol. Finally pick my car up and the windshield glue is failing. Lovely. I called Safelite and talked to Keian, he told me he’d replace the window under warranty and get it right for me, I thought finally someone that cares about the customers car, at the appointment Keian told me the windshield came damaged and asked if I wanted to reschedule I was a little upset but respected Keian for telling me and allowing me to reschedule. Today, September 7th, I dropped my car off and Keian had to go to another shop today so I was nervous to leave my car with someone else. Unlike Keian, Tarik, told me it could not be fixed and that’s just how the glue is going to be. I was frustrated. I picked up my car and wow the molding looks awesome and the glue is holding up. But guess what. The window is not an OEM window as requested & theres 2 spots on my car that has damage. Since they are small, at this point I am cutting my loses because I can’t win with these people, I would never want to damage your car, why treat mine any differently? If you desperately have to use Safelite, make sure ONLY Keian touches your car.

We had a significant windshield chip that spread across the entire windshield. My tech did a great job. He was prompt, professional and courteous. He even took time to play with my dog lol. Thanks for making the process smooth and simple from reporting and scheduling the visit to completion of my windshield replacement!Services: Auto windshield repair

If I could leave zero stars I would. I was told to bring the vehicle in at 9:30. The vehicle was not completed until after they were closed. As I was entering the car I noticed that there was glass everywhere. The entire dash and center console area as well as down inside the window track was full of pebble or smaller pieces of glass. A young kid began to vaccum quickly meanwhile using a paint brush on the door of the car(painted surface). After leaving I notice a few minutes down the road that there is paint missing on the front lip of the hood as well as rubber on the outside of the windshield that someone had cut out incorrectly. Overall super poor experience and you can tell they spent no extra time to make sure my vehicle was done correctly. Vehicle was turned back to me with glass inside all over and dirt on entry sill panels from workers feet. This car is in like new condition with no scratches or paint until this point.

I have never seen a manager treat their customers so disrespectful. Diana is absolutely rude/unprofessional and disrespectful!!
