I was just in there and I couldn't get anyone to check me out or the customer who was behind me. Btw, she DID see me entering the checkout line. I ran the bell three times. A worker was out smoking a cigarette. Someone came out of the back of the store saying that she was in the bathroom and that she "was allowed." I thought "okay." She ran thru one of my items with an attitude. When I asked her about it, she said that I rolled my eyes at her. NO, I didn't. I do not appreciate being treat like that. I was going to purchase approximately $50 worth of items. I said that I changed my mind and I walked out. I will not be back. While I was shopping, I also heard the employees complaining about many customers. I should have left then.

Went to stop in a few weeks ago and found out that they are changing to a dollar tree. No notice online or anything stating that they were closed. Would of been nice

They were played and helpful. The store is kind of a mess right now as they are closing. Today, everything was 50% off. The cashier told us that tomorrow everything will be 70% off. There isn't a lot left, but it may be worth stopping by for some good deals.

Do not work at this store. Manager is rude, lies and steals the silver coins for her use from the leave a penny box. She retaliate against staff unless you beg for your job. If you stand up for yourself she will find a way to fire you. She can't be trusted, always changing the work schedule to fit her needs or to take time off. The manger for kent city family dollar is unfair and unfit to be a store manager. She allows shoplifting and encourages it, by telling the staff to do nothing and let them go. So if you can kiss butt good job for you,because the manger will like you alot . Manger name is Jan.
