Workers have no clue what they’re selling or how it works with different colored hair.was sold Unicorn dye for my brown almost black hair. Even with bleaching it wasn’t light enough for it.

I have gone here 3 times now and I always get a lot of very good information and very positive treatment regardless of whether or not I make a purchase. I bought some hair scissors and little woman tweezers here and the girl working that day was so sweet she didn’t try to upsell me something that I couldn’t afford and she showed a lot of empathy for another customer who was having trouble with their car outside of the shop.

The store manager for the Kalamazoo Sally's is amazing! I had an issue with an online order and was getting no help from online customer service so she called them directly and figured everything out for me. Definitely went above and beyond!

The girl that was working the last two times I went is nice and polite but she is not very knowledgeable. They didn’t have the toner I wanted so she suggested another color and brand so I decided to trust her, I specifically asked her “this isn’t going to turn my hair gray is it?” To which she said no…. I left the toner in for 10 minutes and my hair was dark and gray afterwards. I had to use lemon juice and clarifying shampoo to get the toner out. The store is nice but I wouldn’t ask the employees for advice on what products to get.

When I asked one of the workers a question he had an attitude I believe his name was jay and when I went to check out I didn’t have my credit card for Sally’s yet because I applied for it today & was waiting for it to come in the mall and so he told me I had to wait until the card came in the mail but on the site it says I can use the card the same day I am approved

The man working always seems annoyed when I ask a question. They didn't have my shade 5rv in stock. He told me 4rv would just be slightly darker. It's purple. I start a new job tomorrow and it's purple. So likely I'll have to dye it black just to keep my job. Beyond infuriating.

I am normally not one to write reviews, but what I witnessed today it the Sally's on Drake was horrific customer service and attitude. The man that was at the register asked for a phone number. The customer quoted her phone number but was interrupted by Mr man who stated he could not type that fast and to begin again. So not only can he not remember 10 numbers in a row, his tone and how he said it was appalling! Complete disrespect was shown to this customer who is herself a seasoned cosmetologist. No discount was given either.This man needs some reeducation on how to speak to customers with respect. And maybe some review of typing numbers on the register.
