Not only did I spend more money by going here instead of Home Depot, and driving from Battle Creek, service was crappy during checkout. The cashier was snippy and treated me like an inconvenience after doing her job for her. She couldn’t even say have a nice day. It should be no surprise to people like her with those attitudes when they’re replaced by AI and people like me are just glad to see their attitude go bye-bye. It’ll be a win-win situation for Menards and for me because then I won’t feel frustrated when I have to do my own price checks for the teller and Menards won’t have to pay an hourly employee, And since I’m already bagging my own groceries, it really won’t be that big of a transition for everyone. Until then, Lowes or Home Depot can get my money. Save big money at My nard’s.

Had a faucet exchange for a customer only had the receipt through text. No questions asked. In and out with the new faucet.

This store is a joke with poorly trained employees and prices extremely high. Their fake rebate is a scam and their prices are worse then most lumber yards and hardware tool stores. They sell extremely cheap tools that don’t last and are made by China. Do not shop here for any reason.

Just went in to purchase an axe. I had a sales associate show me where the axes were located. Picked out two different ones with him and price checked the one that was not labeled with a price “with the sales associate” and went with the cheaper one. When I got to the register the item rang up for over triple the amount displayed. I took pictures of where I located the item and showed them. Their associate is my witness to the price that was displayed. The store did not want to honor the price displayed for the axe. The error is definitely not my own. Definitely just wasted over an hour of my time. Extremely disappointed with the manager’s inability to handle the situation. I clearly stated the Michigan law that was put in place to protect consumers from businesses that participate in this type of behavior. I wonder how often this happens. I will take my business elsewhere from now on. When companies do this type of illegal pricing the consumer has to be compensated according to Michigan legislation. Highly disappointed in Menards I really used to enjoy this store.

I prefer this to other home improvement stores. It's more well lit and easier to find things. Always very clean and well maintained store. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have everything you need for a whole house and then nearly everything to fill it. Prices can't be beat.

Employees need more training. Took me FOUR different Employees until 1 person could help me. 2 Employees were very helpful the other 2 seem to be annoyed that I bothered them. Training here is a must. Please have employees, show people were the products are NOT JUST POINT in the general direction. When said item isn't there then go beyond and still help people find what they need, not just, O well, don't have any. That's rude. Only 1 employee did this for me. The only reason I'll now go back and gave 3 star's instead of ZERO..... Training issues.
