Have all you need for home repairs and construction. Most employees are neither helpful nor trained well in their respective positions. Worst of all is their online ordering and delivery. My family currently remodeled our house and used lowes. Spent over $30,000 in total Half of our products was not what was ordered and what did show up was horrendously damaged. This included fencing materials and top of the line appliances.. we are still waiting on a stove that was ordered in may showed up in august with huge dents and scratches. Told us they would replace it immediately, well it is now nearly October and we are still without a stove!! Home Depot is where we now take our business. Lowes does not care about customer satisfaction at all!!!

Ok so this review may be revised as my complaint is in process as I type this. My husband and I ordered new carpet for our bedroom from Lowe's A few weeks ago. It is currently being installed by contractors of Lowe's. The installers have been coming in and out of our house, from a wet and dirty driveway and walking on our brand new carpet with their wet and dirty shoes! I asked them if they were wearing their dirty shoes on our brand new carpet and one of them sheepishly replied yes. I said I'm really not ok with that! And explained that we don't even wear shoes on our own carpet! I asked why they were not wearing covers over their shoes. Their response was "they", assuming they were referring to Lowe's, didn't give them any! Are you kidding me?! I told them had I known, I would have given them some shoe covers because I just happened to have some. They didn't seem to care or even ask for any. While I should not be expected to provide shoe covers for these men, I am NOT ok with them wearing their dirty shoes on my brand new carpet! Therefore, I had my husband give them some and to the best of my knowledge, they are wearing them, but I am not really sure as I'm not in the same room! I am so frustrated that these contractors are so flippant and inconsiderate about wearing their dirty shoes on my new carpet and find this completely unprofessional and unacceptable! I will be contacting Lowe's as soon as they leave and I have had an opportunity to evaluate their work and my carpet.

The company has publicly supported CRT in schools. Don't shop there if you feel the same as I do. They lost my business forever. As a citizen in this country I CHOOSE to not give a cent more to this company. We all should use actions over words.

For veterans, Lowes is the best place to shop. Friendly help. Great layout to the store as you can find where the item is online before you arrive there.

Their returns policy seems to change every time I visit! Don't bother trying to return anything after 90 days. I tried to return unopened items in perfect saleable condition that I bought with my Lowe's card. They had no record of the transaction in their system which seems like a shortcoming of the system! The person at the returns desk talked to a manager and I was told if I found the receipt I could get store credit. So I went home, dug around in my emails and was pleased to find my receipt! Hooray. I set off the next day back to Lowe's where I was told by a different person at the returns desk that because my purchases were over 90 days I couldn't have ANY refund, not even store credit. This has never been the case for me in the past. The items I wanted to return are in perfect condition, still in their packaging and ready for putting straight back on the shelf. I have been a loyal customer for years and I am very disappointed in this misinformation wild goose chase that the returns team sent me on! I'm thinking of going back to Home Depot instead next time!

5★Unusually great customer service (by a fairly new employee, I think)! I was looking for specific things, and was helped to my satisfaction on each item, whether that meant that they had the item or we concluded (by different means, as necessary) that they didn't have it.–★When one of the methods we used to find an item was too consult with [his supervisor?], that person and his companion's attitudes were much less customer oriented in a couple of ways:A) making me feel as if we were interrupting unnecessarily (yet we had looked in all but one location they suggested)B) not listening to the product description, and repeatedly offering me the wrong item (which I already had told them from the beginning was not the item I was seeking because although its name made out sound appropriate, it didn't do what I needed it to, and what u was looking for was not at all an unusual item for growers/landscapers.In the end, the person who finally 'got' what I was saying and understood its usefulness, said (I'm paraphrasing) that as Lowe's has so many other things related to the outdoors/landscaping you'd think they'd carry that item... (That's exactly what I thought, obviously!)

Purchased a Craftsman tool chest. Good selection to pick from. The employee looked up the box number, went to the back and brought me on up. Very polite.

The West Main Street Lowe's is a great store. The service from Carlos at the Pro Desk makes each trip an adventure. I would highly recommend this Store.

I was looking for a porch swing which they did not carry in the store. The young woman at the returns desk took the time to look for it online, showing me pictures. Helpful and friendly.

Will in flooring is the best. He asked if needed help at first when told no he went on with his work but then when I did have a question without hesitation he assisted in helping me find the right materials based on my budget, quality and personal look without telling me what he likes or would do and got me what I needed to do the job. Day before our delivery of retaining wall blocks, we received a call that they were no longer available. No one pulled them off the floor or called us in the 2 weeks before to let us know they messed up. None of the Lowe's stores want to work with each other or actually deliver anything.

Nice assortment of lighting and bulbs ?! Was looking for outdoor lighting that had Dawn to Dusk features. Hard to locate, no section defined just for this purpose.Had a store associate try to assist. Eventually, found the feature in some of the motion detector lighting section.Also found something new...bulbs ? that have a Dawn to Dusk sensor built in! WOW! SO COOL! Hope Lowe's feature them buy 1, get 1 free so others can discover them, too. Pricy per bulb, but so is an electrician or switching ? out the outdoor light.

I have called 6 separate times. 4 times no answer after being forwarded to the garden center. The other two times I was placed on hold and the person never returned to the phone. I waited so long that the lowes phone ended up having a busy signal and then hanging up on me. Poor customer service for a simple question.
