I had a wonderful Experience at this Must-See property in Downtown Kalamazoo. I booked at the Home2 Suites. However, it is actually a dual property with a Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel was great but the staff is what makes this place shine the brightest! It all started with Josh at the front desk at check-in. He is everything I look for in a co-worker, business partner, and most importantly a friend. I then was able to meet the night auditor Parker who is an exceptional man. He is graduating this December from WMU as a Data Anaylst. He will have a plethora of opportunities to choose from as I am 100% sure he will be highly sought after once he graduates. The Security detail here is very professional but also just regular men like we all want to be. 5-Star Mike is going to be ultra successful in life and as a business professional. The breakfast Attendant Deb was so smiley this morning and it touched my heart. She took a lot of pride in her work and I for one greatly appreciated her conversation but most importantly those Burritos & Bacon with the Breakfast Salsa ??. This morning I met Ms. Silverene. I guarantee I mis-spelled your name . I apologize. Watching her check this Fake Thug Fake Guest was exhilarating. I could watch her work all day long but that would be weird and you would “kick me out” ???. The Executive Housekeeper Ms Cassie walks fast and seems to be always multitasking. Although our encounter was brief she showed me who she was; as a leader of the most critical part of the team. The cleanliness of the rooms and property in general can and will make or break you and I tried hard to find a flaw and could not! Well done Ms Cassie and team! ✅Rooms: I was in Room 206. I will never specifically asked for that room again. However, I may use my HH app and pick my own room ?♂️?✅Nearby activities: If you are into Nature and Learning most definitely come here!Safety: 5 star Mike and the First Gentleman I met could run security any I’ve ever stayed.Walkability: Very walkable. Just don’t be like me abd walk too much or you will be having to rest ice compress and elevate. ?♂️Food & drinks: Great selection from their market and reasonably priced.Noteworthy details: The staff is top-notch! Thanks for being Genuine, Authentic, and most importantly Honest!

Very nice and clean hotel at a great price. Our room had an almost full size fridge and dishwasher. The bed was comfy and we slept like a rock!We did unfortunately find a bug crawling on the floor this morning and are really hoping it isn’t a bed bug!!

Basic motel. The staff are fine. The computer system is slow, so check in and out is always slow. Have never felt unsafe. Breakfast is not good though there are a wide variety of options. Don't even like the coffee. The work out room is adequate for the number of people that use it.

Great service super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast attendant was very attentive to his area and Tamika at the front desk was super helpful and welcoming. She made sure to explain all I needed to know to make my stay was hassle free and comfortable. Thanks Tamika!

I basically spend half of my time here and it's my second home. They always have coffee out which is nice. Connected to a hotel with a bar. The gym is great. It's a hotel.Nearby activities: Lots to do. Middle of downtown

Great place to stay! We had room 827. It was huge! Kitchen, dining, lots of living space, large bathroom & 2 queen beds. Clean spaces. Staff was really nice. The hotel itself was amazing! Cool artwork everywhere, nice places to hang out both inside and out. Great location where you can walk to restaurants, bars, museums, and shopping.

From the moment I checked in the staff was friendly, outgoing and accommodating! I was traveling for work and had my 2 dogs and had to make some adjustments with my payment. I thought a pain in the a**, but the staff made it work no problem! Always saying hello or checking in when we came through the lobby. Just amazing! Clean and nice, parking was easy and the location is perfect. I will not stay anywhere else in Kzoo!

I came from out of town for a funeral and chose this hotel to stay in because it was close to the train station and downtown. I loved my stay here. The staff was very receptive to my needs and was caring towards my situation. The room was very clean, the hotel areas looked nice, the food was good, the staff was amazing. I really felt comfortable here and all my needs were met. I'm staying here anytime I have to come to Kalamazoo. Thank you to everyone there that helped me!

We were in town for a friend's party and decidedto try this hotel. Staff was friendly and hotel was very clean. Room was huge and had lots of emenities. Security was good through whole hotel. Breakfast was ok. You can get higher quality food at the connected Hilton if you'd like but there is a charge for that.. Do recommend the extra $20 a night for the secure parking. NOTE: Hotel is a few blocks from homeless shelter and there are several homeless in the area but never bothered us and stayed to themselves. One negative was not easy to find entrance to the Home2 suites. Not signed very well. Would for sure stay again.Walkability: Very close to lots of shops and restaurants

Room was great! Very clean. Comfortable. Quiet. No issues. Everything worked. Shower doors didn't allow "splash" onto the bathroom floor. TV had no issues. Kitchenette was convenient.Service was solid. I didn't require much. But what I did need was handled efficiently.While there are many convenient downtown locations for food, etc, Kalamazoo has issue's with their downtown which is why I only gave location 4 stars.

This hotel is in a great location. I was greeted by the person at the front desk. The staff were very professional and accommodating. I am a Dimond Member and this hotel ensured that I had complimentary a water bottle. My room was clean and full stocked with extra towels, toilet paper, paper towels so I did not have to go the the front desk to ask for more. I used the parking garage and it was a quick and easy walk.Rooms: Rooms are Clean and pretty big.Safety: Located downtown an a safe area.Walkability: Elevators are continently placed. Short walk to and from Parking garage.

We were staying here for the weekend for a family reunion. My fiance and I both works for Hilton back home. We were not impressed at all. The first room was dirty. Bathroom was not clean at all. Hair in the kitchen area and all drawers. Microwave was gross. The floor was not vacuum at all. We went down and ask for a new room. Second room has hair in the shower and on toilet. Microwave was gross in this one. We were tired from our long day so I cleaned it myself. Than we found dirty sheets on the bed. Its late at night, we took them off and slept with the comforter only. In the morning, I brought down the dirty sheets to show front desk. The guy working didnt seem interested in our situation or apologize. He said housekeeping will be up with new sheets, thats fine. I was still holding the dirty sheets not knowing what to do with them or him offering to take them from me.Breakfast was completely empty when we went down around 830ish on Saturday.Overall we were not impressed at all.Rooms: Not clean at all!!

Great stay!!! Amanda and Josh were amazing and very welcoming. Room was clean and smelled fresh. Pool is crystal clear and very warm. They have cornhole on back patio as well as a nice fire!Rooms: Very nice spacious rooms.
