I previously reviewed the service department and while I still stand by that I hate to continue to leave a poor review for a business that I really do appreciate. I’m actually a big fan of this dealership and I cannot say enough good things about Cory. He’s truly wonderful. I have leased/purchased 4…maybe 5? Cars from them and while I’ve had wonderful sales people I can’t remember a single one, but who I do remember is Cory. Always going above and beyond. Thank you! I’ll go back every time to get a new vehicle.

Great customer service. Dan had my vehicle pulled up, washed and ready to go when he knew I was on my way. The fancy coffee machine is a nice touch and I love the new chairs in the waiting areas... so comfortable!

Even though your staff seemed short-handed upon my arrival and your garage was filled like never before with vehicles waiting to be serviced, your staff took the time to courteously and promptly take care of my needs during my vehicle check-in. I view your garage service agents as a group of highly professional people willing to treat me as a valued and appreciated customer.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITY!!!!!
Terrible customer service.
My wife's wheelchair vehicle (Chevy Traverse) had to go in for a fuel door latch replacement as it broke.
Took forever (months) to track down the replacement part.
Finally after waiting, calling back to check status, repeat. The part arrived.
I scheduled the appointment (for 830 am) and also a courtesy ride back home as my disabled wife needed me home for assistance with her AND the children. Which both myself and the schedule questioned as it was only a 15 minute job. But I wanted to play it safe accommodating for the unknown.
Dropped the car off, no ride available, couldn't locate the driver, "he must be on a run". I was told, "Please go wait in the lounge and they should be right here."
Spoke to a manager after waiting an HOUR (the job should have been finished at this point) and was told upon inquiring about the status of a ride that the driver "didn't have a car" at a CAR DEALERSHIP yes that is correct.
The manager quickly rectified the situation, I'm assuming they used a car off the lot, and then the driver provided me the ride. (Job should have been done by now at this point)
Waited until 3 pm and then inquired about the status of the vehicle. Was informed the part was not there. Called and spoke to the same manager I spoke with earlier about the ride debacle, he put me on hold, came back with information that the part was in fact there, but now it's 4 pm and the end of the day. Left it with "let me work on this and call you right back." 430 pm he called me back, with "they are working on it now and it will be ready before 5 pm".
445 pm I received a text saying the vehicle repair was complete and ready for pick up. 15 minutes. 15 minutes this job should have been DONE. 5-10 minutes the repair tech should have alerted SOMEBODY that the part couldn't be located, maybe another 5-10 minutes to have the conversation with the customer that was STILL THERE as they dropped the ball on the ride. And then another 15 tops to install!
Everything was planned in advance, I ensured the part was there, I ensured a ride was available. EVERYTHING in advance. They dropped the back completely. I would be willing to drive to Schoolcraft (closest Chevy dealer) before ever returning to Denooyer Kalamazoo.
Lost a customer for life with this 1 simple fuel door latch repair. Certainly shouldn't take speaking to a manager to receive proper care.
I would HIGHLY encourage better training all across the board Denooyer, but communication doesn't appear to play a role in this organization.
