We came here with a group and stayed for a couple hours for the live jazz, food, and drinks. All of the food was incredible (we had just about one of everything), drinks were great, and the service was top notch. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Awesome place in downtown Kalamazoo with Awesome mix drinks. Also try there corn bread I had the maple bacon jalapeno corn bread and it was amazing another person in our group tried FRIED GREEN TOMATO BLT and said it was literally the best BLT he's ever had. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would also if you go during the week I heard there’s live jazz music.

I came here with the three others, after not being downtown for some time. I heard about the place and wanted to support it. Upon entry (kind of difficult to tell what door to hit) we grabbed seats at the bar. We were the only patrons at the bar and it took an odd amount of time to place our order, and then to receive the drinks. I get it, you not making just rum and Cokes but very slow process.Seemed odd that who I’m guessing was the manager was walking around with ear buds in but hey maybe he don’t like the job. The last thing was the 20% “Service Fee” my biggest critique of this is that we were not told it was on there (seems slippery). Loved the look, the sound and hope it gets sorted out.

Went here because my friend was celebrating her birthday and we wanted to check things out. We were very impressed by the atmosphere and general vibe. However the service was lacking. We started out with 5 people and were sat in the back room. Service was sort of slow but whatever we were understanding, two more of our friends joined and we were offered a cozy little nook to sit in since we had more in our party. It was lovely, however the server never even offered our joiners a drink and we sat for a long time before deciding to just pay and leave. Would love to go back because it was a beautiful place but the service was not it. Expect much more from such a high priced fancy place.

Walking in the workers all shout a welcome! The atmosphere is relaxing and music a nice mix of R&B, rap, soul, and oldies. The staff is attentive and super responsive. The food menu is limited though the blueberry cornbread was pretty incredible as well as the drinks RESPECT, Smooth Operator, and Old Fashioned. RESPECT is, by far, one of the best drinks that I have ever had.A few things that prevented a 5 star: The Old Fashioned had chipped ice which melted quickly watering down the drink. I highly recommend large square whiskey ice cubes. They melt slowly and keep the drink cold while remaining tasty. They are easy to make in-house. Second, the music is too loud at the two seat bar tables. I had to shout for my date to hear me. Third, a forced 20% tip. This should be up to patrons. Sorry if this is due to patrons just refusing a tip.

I loved the atmosphere and the drink I had. I didn't get food but it looked good. Good music as well.Parking: Downtown Street parking so it's free after 6 pm, or there is a parking structure close but unsure if it's paid or just for residents of stone if the apartments etc.

Very great atmosphere! Good drinks at a fair price.I am not at all a dessert person, but I ordered the peach cobbler for my girlfriend and I to share and almost ended up eating the whole thing! Super good!

I went here with a friend on a Friday evening after work. What a great atmosphere! You really feel like you can shut out the rest of the city. Our bartender was Teo, he was so friendly and made amazing drinks! He was the only one tending the bar when we arrived, as more people came in, he never let me feel like we were forgotten. Always attentive! I am planning on coming back and next time I will try some food!
