BEWARE!!! CFMOTO does not stand behind their product and Sleeping Bear Motor Sports does not know how to service the machines they sell. I purchased a 2022 CFmoto Zforce 800 from Eric at Sleeping Bear Motor Sports. The purchase was a great experience. We have just over 2000 miles on this machine. I took it into them because it was burning oil. Our mechanic was Jake. They charged me two hours to do a compression check. Told me the compression check passed and said they would like to adjust the valves, and this would be another two hours. I agreed... Jake contacted me and told me that this did not work, and he would like to replace the valve seals to fix the issue. I agreed. The charge was 1139.80 + 89.61 to put a tube in the rear tire. When I picked up the machine (after several days) Jake and owner, Eric assured me the unit was fixed. I hauled it all the way to Tennesse. Pulled it off of the trailer and it was still burning oil, worse than when I brought it into them. I called Eric, he told me that since that did not work, he would need to replace the top end, and it would cost me an additional $2,400.

Mechanic was really rude. Acted like he didn’t even want to talk to us. They must have a lot of work to treat customers like they are a burden.

Bought a new S200 Kayo for my son. Great mid level side by side/ atv. The price was right at Sleeping Bear, but what sold me was Eric and his crew, from start to finish they all were amazing, helpful, and insightful during and after the sale. Great place to do business with, would highly recommend shopping here.

I was on a trip from southern MN and rode out to lake Leelanau to visit family for a long weekend. Come to find out i ran my tire bald. I called and checked to see if they had a tire in stock for me and they did! They got me in right away on a Saturday. Staff were on point and were fantastic to work with. They hooked me up with new breaks as well as they had caught they were pretty run down as well. Do not hesitate to stop in or make a phone call to this place. If they were closer, i would go to them for everything. You dont find shops like this just anywhere anymore. Well done sleeping bear motorsports!!
