“I've been coming here on and off since I started my job that's about a mile from this post office. We use it a lot because we send stuff out certified and use a few other services like other human beings that go to the post office. For starters, the place is almost always clean and well stocked. It's not the biggest or baddest post office, but this one seems to have it together, considering what it is. The lines are never terribly long and the ladies here that wait on me are quick and efficient. Recently, they had their drive up mail box replaced. It was rusty and in terrible shape. I hated using it, and am glad to see a new one on the curb. There is a parking lot here, but its tight and your better off parking on the curb. Making a left out of here can be downright dangerous at times because the stoplight is always on blinking red and the cars parked on the street block your view of people coming at you. There is a few downsides to this place but I will only discuss the one big one that has only caused me grief once. They do not accept packages here for whatever reason, and send you to the main post office off Fenkel. I have no idea why this is. I've seen a few patrons get a little crazy over it and it wasn't pretty. I've only been to the Fenkel location once, and it's a super nice updated facility, about 3 miles away. Overall, it's an alright place and the staff is super friendly and nice. Will continue to return here as long as I work on this side of town.”

I needed to send an urgent overnight document to Great Lakes Nat'l Cemetery and she made sure it was on the truck to go out immediately. “My FAVORITE post office! Tim, and Laura make sure everyone feels right at home when visiting. I've never been to any post office where everyone's personality is GREAT, fun, and always upbeat! If I could give this post office 10 stars I would. The only downside is that they aren’t open Saturday's, and close at 5pm M-F. 6:30/7pm would be a great closing time, but I do understand that romulus isn't a very big town, and they probably don't have enough customers to really stay open that late. I”
“I am only giving this location a 5 star because of Gary Hicks. Why is he the only employee ever working the counter ? This location has no staff except for this one employee. If your employees call off get the supervisor to help . I come into this location once a month with 100 certifies hold the line up out the door and no one ever comes to help. Gary is patient and kind all I can do is work along side with him while he services me and other customers. Give this man a raise he deserves it!”
“On 9/1/21, I experienced a rude female USPS employee. The blue drop box states 5:00 p.m. collection pick up time. It was 4:34 p.m. when the employee rolled away the mail bin from the blue drop box. She refused to answer me in a professional manner, if the mail that gets placed into the drop box at the present time 4:35 p.m., will not be collected or processed until the following day?”

“I almost did not go to this post office based on reviews but I felt silly driving past it to go a couple miles away to another. I went in on a Saturday morning and was pleasantly surprised I've never seen three counter employees at a post office normally it's 1 maybe 2 at the most! There was no line but customers were there. When I got to the counter the employee was very helpful wasn't trying to scam me out of money and probably the nicest post office employee I've ever come across”

“Large parking lot with a pull up mail box at one end. No shortage of places to park here. The lobby is clean and they offer PO Boxes. As well as other merchandise to purchase. As well as the free boxes the PO offers. The lines can be long so be prepared to wait. The woman today was very business like in and out. She was quite fast. Employees here are hit and miss. Sometimes you get warm and friendly sometimes you don't. Have your packages prepared properly and your paperwork in order before you get in line, and it should move quickly. I would like to suggest a stamp machine in the lobby. For when you just want to buy a book or a roll and go.”
“Great customer service, but be very careful driving up the driveway just to get in the parking lot. The driveway just messed up my bumper. Best to park on the street if you don't have a truck, so you won't take a chance in ruining your vehicle.”

“I went to this location to pick up a package and the way the line was ran was very efficient. The line was long but it moved fairly quickly. The employee and her manager who assisted me were very friendly. I live close by so I’ll be going to this location moving forward.”
“I recently had difficulty with an international shipment. Tracking can be difficult with them at times. My package was missing for two days but the supervisor Ms.Jackson took down my information and ensured me they would try their hardest. Thankfully it was found! “Update... As of today the State of Michigan had already processed my return and I can say this post office has always made sure my rent made it before this issue. I am convinced it is not their fault because my taxes was sent the same day as my rent payment. Old Issue:I am not sure what is going on, yet last monthbetween the 18th (of April 2021) and the 20th I dropped envelopes off in one of the blue boxes in the driveway. Well the one of the envelopes to my landlord business address never made it there. Also I sent my taxes forms to the state & have to wait to see if the received them. I am shocked something is missing from the box at the post office. And one was only going to Livonia the other the state tax PO box.”

On the Down Side it's Wheel Chair Accessable to the Door Cause those Automatic Doors haven't worked since 85' I Believe.”

“I've been selling things on ebay and shipping them here for a few years now. The employees here work efficiently, and have always shipped my stuff out on time. I have never had a package lost, however i have had a couple incidents where the USPS damaged my package (not this post office's fault) but i can forgive these accidents since filing an insurance claim is very straight forward with the USPS. (My experience with insurance claims with other companies like the UPS were an absolute nightmare).Some people may confuse the efficiency at this post office with rushing. However in my experience, if you just take the time to ask questions, the employees will always help guide you in the right direction so your visits in the future go more smoothly.This post office also provides free USPS Priority boxes on the side (free to take home, not to ship), however don't expect a vast variety of sizes. I personally prefer getting free boxes at GFS which is just a few minutes away, and getting my bubble wrap and packaging tape from Home Depot for cheaper.”

I have never had an issue with any of my prepaid postage parcels going missing or not being scanned in to active tracking information. In the past I have had issued with other post offices not scanning in every parcel. So far, so good. And in my experience, the people who work here are absolutely the most pleasant and professional. Remember these are government employees and should be treated with respect. This is a good place.”
