The store didn't have a great variety of items I was looking for. But I found one item on sale for $7.99 but at checkout the price was more and I had to prove the sale price by showing the salesperson which was more work than necessary. Overall I hope the company gets better with more variety of items that are more modern and less traditional or out dated.

Eileen at the fabric cutting counter is amazing. She took care of a huge order for my friend and I and was pleasant and helpful the whole time. Everyone was nice when we were at the store today!

It is absolutely terrible the way these employees are treated, you have two people running an entire store during the holidays? An unending stream of people checking out, calling for help, filling online orders, how are they supposed to take a lunch? Go to the bathroom? This is mistreatment of your employees and of your customers. Several people waited over a half-hour in line. Pay your employees more and hire more people. I will never shop at this unethical place again your employees are kind, patient and wonderful they don't deserve this. Shopping at arts and scraps from here on out.

Wow, so I went in today to take a look around and buy some yarn for a project. I was near the discount area when I heard two sales associates talking. At first they were talking about “kids these days” and how much they suck, which *eyeroll* okay, whatever. But then one of them started talking about where Black people should and shouldn’t live?? Like, they shouldn’t live outside Detroit? Pardon?? She then mentioned something about evil in the world and then the LGBTQ, they both talked poorly about trans people, especially trans women. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing at Jo-Ann’s.Anyway, since I’m trans, I know where I’m not wanted, so I left and went elsewhere for my yarn. If you’re Black/African-American or LBGTQ/ally, I’d advise against this location. I’m still pretty grossed out, tbh.
