I went in because I saw a cannoli sign but ended up getting an Italian sub and a “Joe’s Green Tea.” The sandwich was great. Everything tastes fresh. The employees were super nice as well. Will most definitely be returning!!

House-made veal ravioli and Orlando’s marinara sauce was a quick delicious meal. Highly recommend stopping into this local gem for amazing food. ??

One of the best butcher shops, delis and my favorite place to grab a couple subs when in the area. They have been in business for quite sometime and are truly loved and appreciated by the local community as well as myself. I have been going here since a child and will continue to do so. I love this place! If you're a local Grosse Pointer and haven't been in to Alexander & Polen yet, you need to stop in. Grab some of thier top quality meats for the BBq or the oven and don't leave without getting one thier fresh, made while you wait italian subs from the deli counter. One of the best deals in town! We had them do a sub party platter for the last Lions playoff game and it was a huge hit. They are always friendly and up for a chat. It has that old school feel where this Gen Xer feels at home and it keeps me coming back. I highly recommend it.

There’s a lot to like about this local market. The Delmonico steaks cut to order (I like mine 1”) that I cooked on my indoor ninja grill were delicious. Really exceptionally tender & marbled just right.

I've been in Detroit visiting family for the holidays, and I couldn't have asked for a nicer place to buy some fresh and high quality steaks for my visit. Family owned and operated, really nice guys behind the counter, and a selection of meats like you wouldn't believe. I wish I had something like this back in Atlanta, I'd be there all the time. It's safe to say when I come back this way next year, I'll be doing all my shopping here again. Excellent service, phenomenal little shop.
