John gave me a warm welcome and was very, very helpful so pleasant ( my first time). Todd is his name, let me say it very loud: Todd should get a good metal. I bought my vacuum from Fingerhut didn't have it a month (I used carpet deodorant powder) Todd instantly tought me better. Upset I call fingerhut and they sent me too Banks vacuum in Grosepoint woods...Mack Ave, I was raised in that area so my first thought was is it going to cost me alot of money even though I was covered by fingerhut but! you know how that works. When I tell you Todd not only educated me on vacuums, I also felt he wasn't going to cheat me and because of his honesty and integrity, I was very comfortable with buying a vacuum cleaner from him, one that works with bags might I add, I look forward to seeing him every 8 months for a belt replacement or sooner for new bags, "who ever thought" I would be using a bag vacuum again..Todd I love your work place very clean and nicely put together and the professionalism is A1 your company should be very proud of you, THIS MAN REALLY KNOWS HIS STUFF, IM NOT KIDDING. congratulations sir, you have a customer for life.?? In my photo's is the vacuum I bought from Banks vacuum and the vacuum I shouldn't have bought and wouldn't have bought had I talk to Todd first, guess which one is Banks vacuum!!! Very nice right and great quality ?? I'm very satisfied with my visit to Banks vacuum company..NO CAP(NO LIE). THANK YOU, for saving me money.
By the way people..My vacuum I purchased from Fingerhut works even better after they fix it- and TODD SAID DO NOT USE CARPET POWDERS IT WILL MESS UP YOU VACUUM 101.

I was in the store today and experienced, as always, excellent customer service. Todd assisted me in replacing a part for my Míele vacuum cleaner without hesitation. He was also kind enough to show me how to clean the filter and minimal upkeep. We have been shopping at Bank’s for years and it’s the one and only store for us. Thank you!!

I was looking for a carpet shampoo machine and got thoroughly confused. Many models with the reviews talking about leaks, inability to clean the dirty water tank leading to a rank smell. Etc. Finally went to John at Banks. He explained EVERYTHING. Went back 2 days later and bought a Hoover SmartwashPet. Tougher bristles, you can clean everything including the scrubbers. Just used it today. Carpet was grey tweed that looked black after 5 years plus. Now looks new after about 2 passes! Highly recommend this machine, John, and Banks!

I met with salesman John who asked and answered every question I had, demonstrated and explained every detail of the machine I was interested in and did not rush me through a decision. He definitely knows his business and I will definitely put his name out there to see when it is your turn for a banks vacuum experience. Thanks john.

I brought my machine in to Bank's vacuum superstore and John was able to fix my vacuum that day and it's back to working like normal. 100% fast friendly service

I needed a new vacuum and went to Bank’s Grosse Pointe Woods store. Todd … was very helpful and thorough in going over the features and use of the vacuum I ended up purchasing. Todd … also went above and beyond in finding a solution for cleaning some hard to reach spaces. I wish my experiences at other retailers was as good. Kudos- keep up the good work.

FINALLY found someone willing to look at a Breville YouBrew coffee maker and grinder (no one works on small appliances any more). It suddenly stopped working and I couldn't figure out why. Even tried calling Breville's engineering team (they gave up and offered me a discount on a new coffee maker).John at Bank's was incredible. Within a day he figured out the problem (the grinder had locked up due to rust caused by vaporization of the water while brewing). Wasn't planning to charge me so I insisted he clean it up a little so I there was some reason to charge me (even then, the charge was nominal).Amazing service and very real care about the customer. Definitely will return there the next time I intend to buy a vacuum or have something else in need of repair.
