Worst customer service ever.I needed my shipment for diesel engines parts to be delivered and they couldn’t do it for another week.I asked if I could just drive down and pick the up myself. I was told by a very rude women no that they were paid to do it and they had to make the delivery.I have a tug boat that’s not working that’s cost me tons of money.I drove down form Muskegon to pick them up. I guess she was shocked I showed up. She still wanted to give me a hard time.Finally a man on the dock said hey just back up here and I will load you.I think this guy felt sorry for me knowing I needed this shipment that day. I even told them to keep the money don’t worry about it.Never use this bunch of your business is time sensitive.

Buyer beware. Central Transport is not well regarded by their industry. They recently accepted a shipment from us for a quoted rate and then tacked on over $300 in additional, arbitrary (and unnecessary) charges. Shady business practices. Steer clear.

UPDATE: after my original complaint written below, George called me and “saved the day”! For this company. He helped me, worked with me to get my product BUT it still doesn’t make an excuse for the others not apologizing for the nonsense I went through. I Was on hold for over 10 min, only to get disconnected or hung up on, not sure, to call back again, told they can’t help me, put me back on hold. Finally, got ahold of a person, I explained my frustrations with her, she giggled, no apology but she did get some information for me. My shipment was in grandrapids mi, said to be delivered today, checked tracking number, says it’s going to now take 5 more days, 35 min away, I asked to just pick it up, what a mess, I will never have them ship anything else for me!

Ill keep this brief: This carrier is pathetic.1. Dropped off the first shipment and 2 of the 3 the pallets of floor tile were rubble. But they dropped it off in the street anyway so we could clean it up. It remains in my driveway after weeks of waiting to have it removed.2. Reordered Tile - Carrier said Friday, then changed and told no one so it was to be Monday. Called first thing in the morning to get an ETA.First Person: between 10-1, 1:30 called back and the answer was 2:30-3:30. Called back at 3:30 and now the "estimate" is by 5pm.NO ONE CARES AT THIS COMPANY - TOP TO BOTTOMThe excuse is "We are an estimated time delivery company" Is Friday to Monday at 5pm an estimate? The company wastes customers time without any regard to accuracy or convenience. Thanks for wasting my time! Thanks for dropping a completely damaged shipment.Please go sell snow cones so when you screw up - no one cares!

I gave them 2 stars because all though they got the shipment to me no problem, they blindly charged me more than double what my original quote was because I was off on the dimensions and weight.
